What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

- Trust me, I am an artist...grey will look pallid with those walls. the brown sounds great...almost perfect. You want a bit of contrast. Red-Orange is complimentary on the color wheel but that's way out but w warm color will bring out the best in both colors. A cool color or neutral will look boring and you won't really know why. Ask if you can take home a cushion and just see. I just looked at your photos and the upper right is perfect. A warm nutmeg.
- Q:My 2 year old was ill the other day and puked on my sofa, I tried cleaning it straight away and soaking as much up and then using vanish upholstery cleaner, the puke is no longer there but it smells and I want to clean it before Xmas. What is the best way to clean the sofa? With an electrical upholstery cleaner or steamer? I'm going to buy one today. Many thanks
- If you can get an upholstery cleaner, do use it. That should work. Make sure you spend extra time extracting the water. You don't want to leave this sofa wet. Extract as much moisture as possible. That is key. Make sure you pay extra attention to things like crevices. If the pillows lift off, remove them and clean under them, of course. If your sofa is slipcovered, wash the slipcover. If you have throw pillows, wash them in the washer, if possible. Once the sofa is dry and clean, then do this as an added measure - sprinkle the sofa with a good amount of baking soda. Let the baking soda sit there for an hour. Then vacuum well. Baking soda is great at absorbing and removing odors. But it will only work where it can get at, of course - so anything deeper in the sofa, you'll hopefully get via your upholstery cleaning machine. And a nice, microfiber/synthetic, washable slipcover may be something you want to consider for now, while your kids are young. The microfiber/synthetic material helps, because often, it's less quick to absorb liquids than cottons and etc. are, so you may be able to keep the stain from going as far into the couch itself as it did this time. And they will help protect your sofa from markers, paint, crayons, milk - the usual kid dirt.

If I work overseas as an AAFES employee in Japan will i get SOFA status? If i have SOFA I would be able to drive and so one without a VISA? is that correct? - To work in Japan as a nurse, you need to graduate from a Japanese college / school. That means knowing how to speak , read and write Japanese at an above native level. Nurses are over-worked and under-paid.You need a visa no matter what you do if you're not in the military.

- Sure you can, that is the way it usually is done. It's really hard to find slip covers that have individual covers for separate cushion and if you do they are really exspensive. Good luck.

- If the sofa is past the warranty period you will have to file a lawsuit to claim any money back. You should check with an attorney about the qualifications needed for an expert to examine the fabric to determine what exactly it is. I would suspect an upholsterer could do this but it's better to find out in advance. If it's not what you thought you were purchasing the attorney will help you determine if a lawsuit is the best answer.
