Q:Rainbow vacuum cleaners....?
Works great - maybe the best. BUT...it is a big hassle! I love the ease and thoroughness of a Dyson ball! Easy to empty, you don't pull it around and it is always ready in a moment's notice! The Dyson does a wonderful job with greater ease. The cost is only a fraction of the Rainbow also. barb
Q:What happens if I suck up a spider in the vacuum?
your paranoia will be your downfall think of all the little insects in your house that will now live as they have no spider to prey on them
Q:If you had a house cleaner would you prefer that they bring their own vacuum or use yours?
I would not object to the person who did my housecleaning bringing their own vacuum cleaner. I would assume that they had a good one that was more suited to a professional than my own household one.
Q:If a vacuum cleaner was used on a miniature black hole, what would happen?
A clean black hole, I guess. Could you read about black holes, BEFORE you post?
Q:What are the best vacuum cleaners on the market today? I've heard good things about the Dyson, how bout you?
I bought a Dyson DC15 Animal in March. Upon opening the shipping box I was terribly disappointed in the quality of the plastic used. Very soft and flimsy material everywhere. I contemplated at that point bringing it back to the store, but decided to give it a try. The noise is somewhat unsettling. My kids and wife did not like the high pitched sounds it made. Motor and exhaust sound levels are quite high. Despite the claims of easy stair cleaning, I found it quite clumsy. The mini turbine head is air powered, not electric, and has very little power for real cleaning. Its speed dropped considerably when applied to the carpet. It looks and sounds great while held up to watch, but its functionality is poor. The flexible plastic hose is flimsy and appears very low quality. I started vacuuming a small area of floor about 4 feet square. The canister filled quite quickly and needed to be emptied. It needed emptying a few more times after cleaning the entire upper floor. Next cleaning was the same, as well as the time after that. Clearly my carpet isn't that dirty! The canister was filling not with dirt, but with carpet fiber. I was literally vacuuming up my carpet. The DC15 was returned to the store for refund. After the hype and optimism I was terribly disappointed. I'm back to looking for a replacement for my 35 year old Electrolux.
Q:i just vacuumed my snake wat shoud i do?
it would really depend on what sort of vacuum you have. if he IS alive, the sooner you get him out the better, cause he could very quickly sufficate in all the dust. if he IS dead... well, a lot of vacuum cleaners have little choppy bits to deal with the biggest bits, so... be careful of what you might find. it might not be pretty. i'm assuming you weren't so stupid as to vacuum the floor really close to the snake, right? were you being really lazy and vacuuming out his tank without taking the time to move him out of it first? i've done that with my geckos i moved my geckos though) and the extra crickets are often seen jumping around inside the dust bag, alive and annoyed. so seriously, it depends on your vacuum.
Q:Why do vacuum cleaners have headlights?
Here's the honest answer, disregard all of the nonsense answers people have been giving you, there just here for the points. The true answer is that vacuums have lights to give the dirt and dust a fighting chance to get away. When they see the light coming they run n hide under the couch. Now if you don't believe me, just lift your couch n see if the dirt n dust isn't hiding there. One last fact people probally didn't know is that dirt n dust can't hear, no matter how loud the vac is. Thank god for those lights eh?
Q:consumer reports vacuum cleaners?
Most of the vacuums in consumer reports can be bought at your local stores or on the internet and the makers site. Be advised that you probably won't find the vacuums at the prices stated in consumer reports mag. I hunted all over for a hoover bagless vac that they rated good for under $200.00 (their price was about $160) the best I could do was $180.00 and it was a re conditioned vac plus I would have had to pay S H of $50.00. I don't know where they get their vacs for those prices but I wish they would include that in their reports.
Q:Abs max in calculus( Biz calc)?
You are on the right track. We can find a linear equation to predict the number of vacuums that will be sold at any given price. At $100 it is 800. At $103, it is 794. Think of this data as two points on a line. The points are (100,800) and (103,794). Find the equation of the line. y=1000-2x. The Revenue generated is the number sold * the price. y is the number sold and x is the price. R=x*y=x*(1000-2x) R(x)=1000x-2x² R'(x)=1000-4x The critical number is when R'=0 == 1000-4x=0 == x=250 So, it looks like we should charge $250 per vacuum. Is this really a maximum? R''(x)=-4. The Second Derivative Test tells us that our value is a maximum. This makes sense. The revenue function is a parabola that opens downward with a vertex at (250,125000), The price is $250 and the revenue is $125000.
Q:Why are our pets so afraid of vacuum cleaners?
It makes alot of noise, they just want to get out of the way so they do not get vacuumed up.
