Is it worth it?: Oh gosh -- my sister has one, and I ask to borrow it whenever I can. One idea, though, to save you some money -- my sister got hers almost brand new off of Craigslist for less than half of what the new one would be, and the warranty papers and all of that stuff was there just in case. She hasn't had any problems though.

Q: Hi all,Bought a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner yesterday as they claimed it picked up 99.5% of the dirt compared to what's on today's market, which picks up 5%. Anyway, she gave it to her son and his girl friend. She didn't like it either. When the salesman came by our house luckily my wife remembered about the one her mother had bought. They were asking some ridiculous price$1200 or so I think. After they left I saw a bunch of brand new ones on OKorder for like $700 I think it was. Anyway, we got ours free from her brother and it does work very well. It will push stuff around if you get the head too low on the carpet, you have to raise the head up a little with the little adjusters on the side then lower it back down so you're deep cleaning again. They're built like a tank, but fairly easily to take apart if you need to work on it. I'd recommend it.

Q: i am wanting a cleaner that does it all. i remember a rainbow that i used of someone that was a vac that extracted water while vacuuming that i would like to have. however, i don't know what kind that it was?? does all rainbow vacs do that?? i was thinking about purchasing the h2o vac, then read alot of bad things about them. do you have one, what is your experience? it does'nt have to be a rainbow, but i want something that i can vac and run water at the same time. would like for it to cost less than a rainbow. does the green machine do that?also, if you have a hoover z-fold, how good/bad is it?: I myself would prefer my rainbow over any other carpet machine. I cleaned houses for a living for 4 years and it still runs great. I may of cost a pretty penny but it was worth every cent. I also got the step attachment and the carpet cleaner with mine for doing 4 demo.'s. they were free. you can set up a contract with finance america and pay only $50.00 a month or so. maybe $75.00 and pay for it that way. it really is worth it to me. and it doesnt use suck up water it runs water like a dirt bag, it makes the dirt go to the bottom of the bowl. dirt is heavier then water, and the part inside acts like a churn, it forces the dirt to the bottom. you can also use smelly oils in the water to make your home smell good as you vacuume. I will never buy any other type of model of vacuumes after having this rainbow.

Q: how many brands are there except Shark navigator?have u tried them? are they really easy?: The okorder /... I believe that Hoover originated the lift off design a few years ago. I've not used this one, but I have seen it kicking around warehouse retailers when was first released. To be honest, I think that the lift off canister design is far more hype than actually useful - regardless of the brand name. The theory of a smaller, portable vacuum is good, no doubt, but having to carry/hold the vacuum in one hand while you operate it with the other kind of defeats the purpose.

Q: I have a 2 vacuum cleaners, and I HATE them both! One works okay, but the suction on the hand tool sucks (that one is a dirt devil) and the bissell bagless I have, spills dust/dirt everywhere...I have even taken the whole thing apart and it still is dirty and leaves a mess.I have a baby and a german shepard!Which vacuum works the best for you? the pick-up?: I have a German Shepherd also and he malts everywhere! Miele hoovers I find are excellent. You can either get a cat and dog one or an allergy one, the suction on it is really good, so I would definitely recommend it.
