Q: my apartment is cleaned everyday and we vacuum everyday and we have unburned scented candles all over the apartment 1-2 for each room,,we come home and it smells so good and feels like were walking into a modeled home everyday,but we want more of a cleaner smell would getting a air cleaner or air purifier make it smell alot cleaner: Based on my experience with air purifiers / air cleaners (same thing, different names), you would need a unit with substantial amounts of activated carbon in order for it to properly filter out the bad odors. Other types of filtration (i.e. ionic, hepa) are simply ineffective when it comes to odor removal. Good luck!

Q: Boss want housekeepers to pay for vacuum cleaners, says they abuse them. Vacume Cleaners are are for residential cleaning and at the hotel we need commercial. Meaning the store bought ones are made for 5 maybe 10 times a month but are being used 400 times a month. I find this an unreasonable situation: im a front desk worker and I have done this work for 11 years and in all that time I have NEVER heard of a manager and/or owner asking or telling their housekeepers they had to buy their own vacuums. I do not think it is illegal but not ethical. the last hotel I worked for our housekeepers used orbit vacuum cleaners and those are household vacuum cleaners. our maintenance man cleaned them once a month. they lasted forever.. maybe that hotel needs to do that also.

Q: We have brand new beber carpet and our old vacuum cleaner doesn't seem to like it. We need a new one but was wondering what type to get. There is just two of us living in the home but we do have an inside dog that likes to shed so we need something that will get all his hair up. Q: I sucked up 2 big spiders, bigger than a quarter and 1 moth with a vacuum nozzle thing. after i sucked up the last spider, i left the vacuum on for about another minute to make sure the spider is dead. do you think its dead? cause now im scared to leave my room cause im afraid the spiders can crawl back up.: There's usually a valve on vacuum cleaners that doesn't allow things to escape from the bag/chamber. So...you can sleep safe...or you could if you didn't kill the moth. Killing moths is bad juju.

Q: I was wondering how mch Psi/Atm needed for the high and low pressure pool vacuumes such as The Surfer Above Ground Automatic pool cleaner.: You can never have more than 1 atm in a vacuum system. Obviously the more vacuum you generate, the better it will clean. Most vacuum cleaners probably produce between 50-80 inches of water vacuum.

Q: I heard it spins around in there at 9 times the speed of sound, that being true how is it possible to see a recently sucked up ant able to crawl around pretty happily in the bit where you can see all the dust? Serious answers only please.: yes they can survive, and so can spiders..I vacuumed one up and I was shocked to see this thing moving around,,I didn't want it to hatch eggs so I emptied it and threw out the bag
