Q: i am indian come to perth soon! i am confused what mobile phone i should bring, i mean frequency type?
These are the frequency's that the Australian carriers use on their mobile phone networks. Note that Telstra only uses 850 on their 3G network which means a lot of phones do not work with Telstra's 3G. Q: I have a (cheap) Nokia Tmobile phone. I lost the Simcard it came with. I have the battery, charger and no phone plan. Is it possible to use as a pay as you go? Would I have to purchase a simcard from T-mobile? Can I do this without having my credit pulled?
Yes,you would simply visit the T-Mobile store and take them your phone. Tell them you want to activate it with pre pay, and they will set up service and get you a new sim with a new number.
Q: i have t-mobile and i'm due for an upgrade soon.i wanna get a cheap but quality phone [nothing over $100] with a camera, and preferably a slider.anyone have any suggestions of phones to get or not to get? thankss ;]
touch screens and some blackberrys freeze a lot try to stay away from those. t-mobile dash is cool or go att and get the phone unlocked for like $20.

You would have to call virgin and have them deactivate the account.
Q: i need a t mobile phone that had wi fi but i am having trouble choosing one with a reasonable price
Well, that should not be such a big problem if you have a decent IQ level. Let's take it slowly: T-Mobile is a network operator (aka carrier), it is not a phone manufacturer and therefore there's hardly such thing as a T-Mobile phone. It is true that they do have some taken from Chinese manufacturers which they brand as T-Mobile but those surely cannot be included in the good phone category, can they? So now, you are left with the problem of finding a phone from a decent manufacturer (Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Motorola ) which would work with T-Mobile's network. So go to T-Mobile's web site in your country, have a look at what they offer and filter out those devices which have WLAN. How's your IQ holding on so far? Can you continue? Once you have found all those devices sort them out by price. Then make another list and sort them out by how much you like their design. Finally, make another list and sort them by manufacturer (which is a testimony of quality) starting with Nokia as the best, Motorola in the middle as decent and an Chinese brand at the end, as they deserve. Now you have your answer, just select the phone you like, in the price range you can afford, from the maker you trust.

Q: can you use a sprint phone with virgin mobile, sprint necessarily is virgin mobile. i
Sprint and Virgin mobile are both CDMA. neither one uses SIM cards unless its an international phone. The are basicly the same company with a diffrent name. virgin mobile is the pre paid sprint just like boost is the pre paid nextel. 4 names 1 company. any virgin mobile rep you speak to that tells you it can't be done is lying.
Q: .adversely affect the functioning of an airplane's Radar with the distinct possibility of it crashing then why do terrorists bother with knives, bombs and guns?!.
Mobile telephones do not interfere with aircraft systems. As a result, a terrorist trying to use a cell phone to crash an airplane would be wasting his time. There are anecdotal reports of alleged interference, but nothing that withstands a scientific test. In fact, pilots sometimes use their cell phones in the cockpit—and if the phones really did interfere with aircraft systems, using them in the cockpit would make that very obvious, very quickly. The real reason cellular telephones are banned in flight (in the U.S.) is that there is an FCC regulation that prohibits their use. The regulation was originally put in place because it was feared that cell phones in the air would overload base-station networks on the ground. We now know that this isn't true, but the regulation remains in place. There's also a FAA regulation that prohibits the use of electronic devices in the cabin during flight unless the operator (that is, the airline) has determined that they are safe. Airlines never bother to test electronic gadgets, so they just prohibit them instead, at least during takeoff and landing. However, airlines don't follow the regulations entirely, because they still allow them during cruise flight, which is a violation of the same regulation that bans them during other phases of flight. Sometimes cell phones can produce an audio buzzing noise in nearby audio equipment, such as stereo systems or headphones. Very close proximity is required for this (a few feet), and it's just an irritation, not a compromise of avionics systems or a safety issue. In any case, until and unless the regulations change, cell phones can't be used in flight. The relevant FCC regulation is 47 CFR § 22.925; the relevant FAA regulation is 14 CFR § 121.306.
