- Q:Here is a picture of it...I want to make it white somehow I just loved the shape and how comfy it is and can't afford a $250 chair so I decided to get a $25 chair from craigslist and cover it to make it white instead. I have covered chairs and stools and a bench before but nothing with a complex shape like this. It's the arm rests that throw me off. How would I do this? Thanks!
- It depends upon whether you want a custom fit (what it has now) or a slip cover. If you want a custom fit, you take off the fabric that is now on the chair and use it as a template/pattern to cut the white fabric. You sew it together, then apply the new white cover, finishing off with whatever they used to hide the last touches. You may need a staple gun, tacks and hammer, etc., and you can buy lots of helpful upholstry gadgets at shops that carry such items. They've got some of the neatest items! If you want a slip cover then you measure everything after you decide how you want to cut the pieces of fabric. You'll be able to use quite long lengths in places, then you start sewing smaller pieces on - but this all depends upon your planning. You could use straps or flaps or nails under the seat to hold it on but slip covers generally don't fit tightly.
- Q:The chair has a handle on the right side that allows the chair to go to full height when not occupied. After it is occupied an hour or so, the chair sunks to the lowest level. I do not see any liquid leaking. Is there some adjustment I can make or seal to replace? If so--how do I do it?
- The chair is supported by what amounts to a shock absorber ,much like the ones on a car. You didn't say how old the chair is but I think it must be old enough for the shock to have worn out. Either put up with you sink-o-matic chair or recycle it and get a newer model. The cost of repairing it, even if you could, would hardly be worth it unless you have a really big sentimental attachment to it.

- I cannot answer for certain, but I can give what I have experienced. I ride with a slight chair seat (not as bad as I used to, but my legs basically won't allow me to get my legs perfectly beneath me while not standing in the stirrups, joints won't let me at this moment). I actually feel like I have better shoulder control, especially with horses in training, when I have a slight chair seat due to my legs being closer to the horses shoulder and I have a deeper seat (I've never found a horse to be in pain due to chair seat, now I ride gaited horses so we don't trot, it may be different if you do have to trot) which allows for better seat signals (in my experience).

- No. a cable is a cable. It the two works or it does not. there is no such concern as a cable that works extra appropriate. all of us who attempts to permit you be attentive to in any different case is the two attempting to waste your money or has been taken in themselves. - Check for sales on sheets. One sheet set will cover four chairs. Another thing you can do is just make fabric covers for the chairs that are lining aisle or outside edges. The tops of the interior chairs would just need something for the backs which will save you a ton of fabric. They don't show up in before ceremony pics and will be covered by your guests' bodies during. You could dye or paint canvas or just cotton fabric. Mixing patterns of clearance material will look fine as long as they are in the same colors and will help add to the casual feel. Watch the paper and check online. Joann's and Hobby Lobby usually have a 40% coupon every few weeks that you can use on any item in the store, even on sale. This will save you a ton. If you are on their mailing lists they will send you some as well. I wouldn't use tulle unless you really need to. The chairs are going to show through it.
