Razor barbed tape is a kind of modern security fencing materials fabricated with razor-sharp steel blade and high-tensile wire. Barbed Tape can be installed to achieve the result of frightening and stopping to the aggressive perimeter intruders, with piecing and cutting razor blades mounted at the top of the wall, also the special designs making climbing and touching extremely difficult. The wire and strip are galvanized to prevent corrosion. Currently, barbed tape has been widely used by many countries in military field, prisons, detention houses, government buildings and other national security facilities. Recently years, barbed tape has apparently become the most popular high-class fencing wire for not only military and national security applications, but also for cottage and society fence, and other private buildings.

Application

Razor barbed wire is a type of steel fencing wire constructed with sharp edges or points

arranged at intervals along the strands. It is used to construct inexpensive fences and is used atop wall surrounding secured property.

It has the characteristics of corrosion resisting and oxidation resisting.widely used by many countries in military field, prisons, detention houses, government buildings and other national security facilities.

Q: HiI want to cover a large section of a wall at home with wire. There is a plug socket (electrical outlet) in the wall. How can I ensure that I do not drill into electrical wiring within the wall? Is there some way to scan a wall to locate the wires? Thanks.
Most wire is run in the middle of the 2X4 stud, that places it about 1 ?” from the finished surface, so use screws or nails that are less than 1 ?” long. I’m not sure what you are trying to achieve. There are some really good adhesives out there, so you might want to consider gluing your wires to the wall and avoid any risk of hitting wires. There are detectors available to find wires in walls. Some stud sensor makes that claim, but my experience is that they are not reliable for wires. Wire tracers that locate wires in the wall are very expensive and difficult to find. A specialty shop that carries equipment for telephone technicians would have them, not most home centres.
Q: I have a wire coming up from my basement that has 3 wires (red, green and yellow). I want to connect cat5 wire to that (twisting the wires together) and run the cat5 to an RJ45 box. What's my diagram going to look like?
Cat5 requires 4 wires (two pairs) - you cannot use old telephone wire. second, if the old phone was was 2 pair, you still could not use it. Cat5 is good to just over 300MHz. The old voice grade JK cable could not transfer data very fast. Just use the old phone wire as a pull. Connect a new run of Cat6 to the old wire and pull the new wire into place using the old wire as a pull string.
Q: From my ceiling fan I have the following wires: green, white, blue and blackFrom my ceiling I have a bunch of wire in each of these colours: brown, red and orange.Which wires do I connect with each other??
These are all probably hot-side wires. If you have the knowledge and the tools, find out which wire or wires is/are hot in the box with the switch off. If you have no idea what I am talking about, you REALLY need to find someone who knows electricity. BTW, the wires in the fan are quite simple to decode. The green wire is the ground and attaches to either the box or a ground wire in the box. The white wire is the neutral and attaches to the white wires in the box. The black is the hot lead for the fan and the blue is the hot lead for the light. These two can be combined if you have only one wall switch. Where they attach in the box will be determined by which hot lead is switched. I can probably guess how the box and switch are wired but I may be wrong and that would be dangerous. Call an electrician so you don't burn your house down.
Q: I have two black wires running to a light switch that I need to extend about a foot. I cannot identify the hot wire because both wires are black and I have no white wire. Can I cap off both wires and then test each with a voltmeter? If the circuit is not complete, will the hot wire still be live?
yes you can cap both and yes the hot wire is still hot. take volt/muilt meter set to a/c 200volts touch red lead to one black wire black lead to other . if it +115-125 red lead is on hot wire if it reads -115-125 the black is on the hot wire
Q: Just got a 540 wat sound system but the speaker wires are only 5 feet, so I want to add about another 10 or 15 feet.
Just go down to Radio Shack or some other consumer electronics store or even a Home Depot, etc. and get a roll of bulk 14 gauge speaker cable. It's usually only about 25? per foot and you will have plenty of wire to work with for your entire system. I recommend against splicing speaker wire because not only does it hinder sound quality, but if you don't do it properly you could end up damaging your speakers and/or your receiver. Q: Which are more secure, wired or wireless networks? Explain.
Leaving aside ways to attack a network that wired and wireless networks are equally vulnerable to: Wired networks can be protected with physical security (i.e. people generally have to break into a building to get access to a wireless network). Wireless networks can only be protected with encryption (although a properly configured one will have all the traffic encrypted, whereas that isn't the case with a typical wired network). So, generally speaking, wired networks are more secure.
Q: I've seen people use it as ...umm..energy generating...majiggy.. (but not alot of energy) including a magnet/something about a magnetic field or some sort?and instead of MAGNET WIRES can i use SPEAKER WIRES?(RADIO SHACK)
Magnet wire is just solid copper with a layer of varnish for insulation. Speaker wire would work, but you could not wind the wire as tightly due to the thicker insulation. also the wire is very flexible and will not stay in place very well. Also, if the coil gets hot, the insulation on the Speaker wire will start to burn or melt. .
Q: I have a physics project and my teacher is saying that we should do a wire loop toy?? What the hell is that. Can anybody give me a example and how it is related to physics?? Pls answer back
Wire loop toys mean wire connected to your toy and a handle along with battery.
Q: Hi, I'm extending my pc 5.1 sound system stereo cables. I have a M/F extension wire which I will cut to solder a seamless wire to the system. Problem is that in the system cable I have a white, green(or red) and bare wire. and ont he extension I have a black red and white. Which wire do I connect to which?thanks
It doesn't matter as long as you keep it strait, when ever possable connect a white wire to white wire, red wire to red wire etc...if you have like a green wire original but no green extension wire then I would use green electrical tape to color code the extension wire to the same color as the original, you can buy electrical tape in almost any color and wrap it around the wire and connector ends for color coding...
Q: I'm trying to install a ceiling fan and I'm looking for some help given my home's wiring. I have a single light switch in the room, and here's what's coming out of the ceiling: 2 white wires, 2 black wires and a ground wire. It seems like a set of white and black originate from the same location (in both cases). My celing fan with light has a remote connection, so there's one black, one white and one ground wire coming from my fan to connect to the ceiling. Can someone let me know how to hook it up so the fan and light both work? Thanks in advance.
My guess is its' for the light-twist the black wires together, and then to the black ceiling wires, same with rest- might have pull switch for light and fan, independently.
