Q:i have a longboard skateboard and also a pair of hockey rollerblades and i just bought 2 8-packs of bones swiss ceramic bearings and i was wondering if i needed all of them just for my rollerblades or will there be enough for both the board and the blades.

Longboard = 8 bearings Hockey skates = 16 bearings in both skates So you could use them for your hockey skates OR Use them for your longboard which will leave 8 spare bearings. (you could use the other 8 for one skate only)

Q:whenever i ride my skateboard its really rough and doesnt go far at all. Is this because of my wheels or bearings and i have tried to put like WD-40......

its your bearings man you wheels might make it feel rough but not going any where fast is all your bearings you probably bent the ring around it or got dirt in in or something.Dont bother trying to fix them just get new ones trust me its not worth the time trying to fix they are still going to be bad.

Q:how long do skatebaord bearings last?

Depends on what kinda they are. I've seen cheap $10 Abec 3s and 5s works just as fine as some Bones bearings. As long as you take care of them, they will stay in good condition. But since a decent set of bearings don't cost all that much, just use them until you feel like changing them. I've skated for 5 years and I had a set of bearings that lasted me through out the year. Bones REDS? I'm pretty sure you're familiar with the name. But they are really durable. They ain't fast, but they are durable.

Q:Are Rush Bombers good skateboard bearings?

No the bearings to go with are red swiss bearings. They are sick and last forever.

Q:when should i buy new bearings? i've had modus titanium for a year now should i buy some new bearings?

If you see they stop after 2sec then your bearings needs to be changed as soon as possible but if they are slower you should clean them up with gasoline or lubricant I think that good skate board bearings will last maybe 8 or 9 month if you take care of them properly means cleaning them at least every two weeks.

Q:are swingarm bearing and linkage bearings the same or do u have to buy 2 different kits

That would depend on the bike, I know mine are different.

Q:I'm in alot of downhill skating events but no wins. What bearings could i use that are the fastest in ur opinion and name them all i use are redz bonez.

People who answered were saying things like you can get any type of trucks or bearings, etc. And I do not know what those are, call me a noob, but please tell me what these are so I can purchase my first skateboard. Trucks are the metal axles and plates that mount to the board. They come in different sizes depending on what type of riding you plan on doing- the longer the axle the less turning radius you'll have. Bearing are small discs that contain tiny metal ball (bearings) that allow you wheels to spin freely once they are mounted on the truck-there are 2 bearing rings for each wheel (inside outside) . These also come in all types and generally the more expensive the bearings the more spin/speed you'll get. Hardware merely refers to the bolts nuts that hold the trucks to the board. These also come in all sorts of lengths and brands, but really they are mostly all the same. and don't forget some of the most important gear for a noob will be protective gear, helmet pads etc. Have Fun !
