- Ask for a 6 ft AC power cord. They come in a few difference shapes so just describe what you did here. If it helps reference Radio Shack model/catalog number #61-2878. Good luck!

- Probably, but most people just buy Molex to SATA power adapters. If you need more Molex 4 pin plugs, just buy some Y splitters. Any computer store worth a darn should have some of both in stock, even the chain ones.

- Q: I bought a 9800 gtx card, and it needs 2 power cables connected to the power supply for it to work. It's a monster card. My power supply has one pci express power cable only. Will I need adapters to plug into my power supply?
- The adapter must have two of the four pin Molex connectors. It uses three of the wires, in the four pin Molex connector. (3 wires x 2=One 6 pin PCI-Express power connector)
- Q: NE1 have a surge protector and power filter for there home theatre stuff? If so what is the model and did it make a difference? I have RF grounding problem through my cable and was wondering if the moster cable boxes would help clean up the signal. I have to wrap a wire around the coax cable and ground it to something to make SOME not all of the noise dissappear. (lines rising from bottom to top of picture) Obviously I want a more definate and permant solution. Thanks.
- Actually, any decent power conditioner with a separate ground may work, but it may not and it could be way overkill for your issue. What you need to do is put a ground block in the cable line and ground it to your main utility ground. This involves some skill and special tools and there is a risk of electrocution if you don't know what you are doing. Any decent cable or satellite guy would do this in 10 minutes or so for $20 including the ground block and ground wire. Don't let them add a second ground (like a ground rod) or ground to a water pipe because it's wrong and dangerous. Just tell them it has to go to the main utility ground. (while you can ground to the water main if you know what you are doing, most installers don't) Another suggestion is make sure all of your electrical components that connect to that TV are on the same electric circuit. If some are on one circuit and others on another there could be an imbalance in the ground.
- Q: I recently got YLOD on my ps3 (60g fat) system ,sent it away ,got it back with a new mainboard ,it worked for about 2 days and it cut out (red lights blinking) once again i sent it away ,got it back and it cut out within a few hours (red lights blinking again ) ,so one last repair i sent it off to same shop ,and once again it worked for about a week then cut out on me again ! ,is there any possibility its my power cable to my ps3 thats doing this ?
- Could be your household voltage is blowing the Motherboard try getting a low voltage transformer it plugs into the socket and lowers the voltage because most household voltages are set to a specific Watt so it can run big things like T.V's Microwaves etc. I see you are in the US so it rules out the possibility of a broken fuse. When it cuts out do any of the trip switches trip on the main electric panel? If so then your only option is to buy a transformer. I would ask the shop where you take it first though. Hope I helped
