Q:What is wire Harnesses?

A wire harnes is a set of wires that has all the conductors needed and can just be installed into something. There's a wiring harness in your car. They don't install the wires one-by-one. A harness is built for the product and is installed like any other part. There can be many branches on a wiring harnes to go to different places in the product. There may be more than one harness. There could be one for power, one for communications, etc. This is more efficient than installing separate wires.

Q:Okay so bought 2 Kicker Comp C12-8 subs they are single voice coil, and I bought the Kicker DX300.2 amp. I would like to parallel wire thes subs to have a 4 ohm load, But I don't totally get the concept of it. Could somebody explain it, or show me a diagram, or video, or something?

Q:does anyone know what wires go on which post on a 1995 chevy lumina 3.1 starter? it was off when i bought the car and im lost. i cant find a straight answer anywhere. a picture of the wiring in question is an instant best answer lol

It doesn't take a medical doctor to know small wire goes on small stud the large wire goes on the larger stud.

Q:alright i have a 1994 ford ranger XLT, it has a 4cyl and is a stick shift. i need to know which wire goes where from my O2 sensor. i know there is a positive, negative, heater wire, and the wire that goes to the computer. if anyone could tell me what each wire is and what the color of each is?

well the o2 itself is located on ur exhaust, usually just b4 the cat. just look at ur exhaust for the sensor sticking out and the wire will be coming out the back of it and u can trace it from there.

Why do no longer you get a volt meter verify the battery voltage with bike became off then commence it and re-verify the voltage if there's no substitute its the alternator, it may develop as much as 13- 13.5 The alternator on a scooter is the magneto its below the flywheel and there very high priced. you may get a multimeter for between a 5 -10 quid

Q:function of a fire-wire for backing up data

a firewire is just a port on your computer, mind you they are currently slightly faster then a usb. But what helps do a backup is the program you have on your computer, not the connection to the computer.

Q:I have two DVC subs and I know how to wire them down to 1 ohm with the wires coming out of one outlet on the box but I don't know how to wire them down to 1 ohm with wires coming out of both sides of the box. Anyone have a wiring diagram for this?

For okorder /... On the inside of the enclosure, connect both positives and both negatives to the enclosure inside terminal. That makes each side of the enclosure 2 ohms. Mount and screw in the subs. Now, on the outside: 1) Observing polarity, run short jumpers between the terminals (positive to positive, negative to negative) and then connect ONE set of terminals to the amp (again observing polarity) (positive to positive, negative to negative. 2) Run separate wires from each set of terminals to the amp, observing polarity. That makes the final impedance to the amp 1 ohm.

Q:Are toast - previous owner did a bad amp install on them and there is basically no wire left to use for mine.Is it possible to run a radio power wire/remote wire from the fuse panel back to the radio? If so can i just shove the wire in the fuse holder then stick the fuse back in on top of it?((Fuse 8 is the mustangs radio fuse))

Never wire anything into your fuse box, that will defeat the purpose of having it. You will have to do what's called a hard wire. You will need to run all new wires, which is the safest way to do it, with all proper fusing. A constant +12, a switched +12 and a ground is all you need for the radio to work, and all new speaker wires. If you can find one in a junkyard, you might be able to find a new harness to repair the OEM one, and that would really help you out. Good luck!
