- Q: Accidentally I knocked off six 4X4 ceramic tiles off the wall in my shower. I have extras. How can I repair this?
- The right way is to chisel out the old thinset down to the backer board and set the replacement tiles into it just like you'd do on a new tile job. However, in some cases, if the tiles came off cleanly, you might be able to cheat and stick the new ones on using a small amount of silicone adhesive and then regrout around them. Just be careful around those tiles in the future.

- Q: Behind my sink in the kitchen, I have a back splash that is white tile with an ugly floral pattern on about every other tile. - These tiles are self sttick, so no other glue is needed. However, the surface of the floor must be clean, dry, and smooth for the tile job to last. Be sure to follow installation instructions carefully. Personally, anywhere water is involved, (bath, kitchen, laundry,) the less joints that water can penetrate, is the better solution. Self stick tiles will no hold up to an overflowing sink or toilet.
- Q: hi, we need to put tiles for a room of size 10x16 fts . we will be using 2x2 ft vitrified tiles. I want to know how many tiles are required and how the cost of tile is defined in shop. (price is for 1 piece or 1 sq feet ?)
- 10x16=160/(2x2)=160/4=40 tile you have 160 sq ft if they price it that way you need 40 tile if they price it that way If the tile come in 12 per box then divide 40 by 12 = 3.4 boxes which they most likely will make you buy 4 boxes (extra in case you break a couple. While doing the job, make sure you mix the tile out of the boxes so if there is a difference in color your floor will not show a change in color but will have the colors mixed across the floor.....
