Q:I am trying to replace the window switch for the driver side and forgot the order of the wires. Can anyone hlep me.
The plugs will only go in a certain way . they a keyed that way so you don`t do it wrong 93t/a owner
Q:How much would it cost to replace the 4 gauge wire i have in my car now with 0 gauge wire?
When it comes to kits you do not want to go cheap. lesser names have a interesting way to measure wire, some of the smallest 0 ga. i ever seen. i attached a link to a place i personally use, and they have great cable, actually measures slightly higher than the electrical standard (i forget the standard name) any way the kit is $60. kit includes power wire, fuse holder, fuse, ground wire some connections wire ties, and split loom.
Q:14. Three parallel wires carry currents, with magnitudes and in the directions shown in the figure below. The wires all lie in a plane, and are all 2 m long, with separations between them as shown in the figure. What is the total force on wire #3 due to wire #1 and wire #2? Wire 1 : 6A, 2.5 m from Wire 3 ---------------------gt;Wire 2: 3A, 1.0 m from Wire 3 lt;--------------------Wire 3: 3A ---------------------gt;Can't figure it out, any hints/suggestions?
The formula for force between wires is: (?/2π)(current1)(current2)(length/r) ? = 4πE-7 Tm/A r=distance between wires For this problem, you would just find the force on wire 3 of each one separately. Since wire 2 is going opposite direction as wire 3, they repel each other, while wire 1 and wire 3 attract each other since they are going same direction. I get Fwire1 to be 2.88E-6 N, and Fwire2 to be 3.6E-6N. Then subtract them since opposite forces, and since Fwire2 is stronger, the force would be 7.2E-7 N away/repelling.
Q:You have been given two samples of wire: one nichrome, one aluminum. Describe a procedure you could use to determine which sample was nichrome and which was aluminum
If the wires are the same diameter and the same length then the only difference is the resistivity or ?ρ? of each since: ??Resistance = ρ???L ? A = 4???L ? (π???d)? ??????where??L = wire length ??and???A = cross-sectional area of wire ??or use??d = wire diameter Since the ρ_nichrome is much higher than the ρ_aluminum and given the two wires are the same diameter and length then if you connect the two wires in series across a battery, and measure the voltage across each wire, the wire with the higher voltage will be the nichrome wire because the voltage across the nichrome wire is:?V? = i???(R?) and the voltage across the aluminum wire is: ?Va = i???(Ra)? and the current i is the same through both wires and R? Ra ... or if you can just measure the resistance of each wire, ... the nichrome wire will have a higher value.
Q:i have a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo I cannot find the wiring harness color codes for it. i need the Left Rear positive negative colors the Right Rear positive negative colors. Thank You.

Q:I have a 1989 Nissan 240sx. Somehow the fan caught a hold of the wiring harness and tore all the wires. any idea how much it's going to cost?
Depending on how many wires were damaged and need repaired, I wouldn't recommend a repair unless you can solder them and heat shrink them. And you would want to stagger the joints so they are not all in the same place. Getting a used wiring harness shouldn't cost much. Probably the same as getting all the tools necessary to repair them. (if you don't already have them.) then all you have to do is run the new one along the old one and unplug connectors one at a time.
Q:I have a 1990 chevy c1500 2wheel drive. I bought it not running. I have found the problem and it the tbi injectors are not hooked up. The 4 wires on the 2 injectors are red and the 4 wires going to the tbi are red, blue, green, white. what wires go were? Thanx for all your help.
The red and white wires are the power to each injector and are actually hooked to each other in the harness. These 2 wires should be hot when you turn the key on. The green and blue wires are the grounds that lead back to the ecm. The red and blue wires go to the passenger side injector (red is far left as you face the vehicle). The white and green go to drivers side (white on left as you face it)
Q:im gettin a amp and sub for my car and was wondering how would i make a wiring kit for it ... i have basic knolage of wires but thats about it thanks in advance
the wiring kit is usually: - low gauge cable of certain length (x2) - rca cable of a certain length (x1) - small power connect cable (x1) seeing as these things are already pretty much in their simplest form, I don't see the practicality of making your own wiring kit. just buy one.
Q:I recently re-wired my house with 4 wire telephone wire. They all meet in the attic. How do I wire them together and is there some kind of junction plate I can use? Additionally, I did also wire my house with Cat6 wire, but would like to keep it strictly for Internet.
(links just for reference, from search engine results)
Q:When you buy new earbuds/headphones there are usually two wires connected by a thin piece of rubber. Is it ok to split the two wires that are joined together when you buy them? Im wondering because i need the extra length.
Its possable on some headphone wire to do that; on others the jacket is too thin and you run the risk of exposing bare wire , if you do expose bare wire I suppose you could cover it with electrical tape....
