- If your existing tile is tight to the floor and in good shape (no cracks, loose tile, loose grout) yes you can. You need to use a thin set with a very high latex content like TEC Superflex. Be sure that the existing tile and grout is perfectly clean and there are no sealers left on the grout. This is an industry accepted method.

- There are lot's of choices, bullnose being the most common. Go to a tile store, not just Lowes or Home Depot, you'll get lot's of ideas.

- There is not set standard but most people use a 1/4 joint and I m assuming your using a tile that uses a sanded grout. I personally like to use a 3/16 joint but this depends on the type of tile. Cheaper tiles are not sized and made as well as a more expensive tile like a porcelain. Then I use a 1/4 joint. Some less experienced people will use a 1/4 because its just a bit easier to work with. - Q: I‘m remodeling my kitchen and there is ugly floor to ceiling wall tile. My contractor says can‘t put up drywall without reframing (which would be expensive). So does anyone have suggestion on what to do with this wall?
- What do you want to do? You can tile again directly over them with new tile for an up dated look. Yes you can take them off but depending on what the previous person set the tiles with it can be easy to remove or an SOB. Its a dusty , dangerous ( at least if your not careful ) job and if the proper glue was used it really can be hard to get off. You ll need a hammer, wide masonry chisel, safety glasses , gloves, long sleeve shirt and ear plugs to keep out the flying debris. - Q: Is laying the self stick tile good for a kitchen
- From personal experience, I don't reccomend them in ANY room. If one tile gets chipped or cracked, any little bit of water gets under it, your doomed!
