- I okorder /... Unless your husband is willing to do the cleanup for these stains himself he should not object to you taking reasonable steps to prevent them with a cover to protect the furniture. While I sympathize with him for having to deal with inconvenient side effects, it would be immature to gripe about something that mitigates the problem and saves you work.
- Q:Working with a client that wants to have a custom king size sofa built, I work for an interior design company and our re-upholstery guy cannot order this size from his manufacturer. I have looked almost everywhere on the internet for a king size sleeper sofa insert mechanism that is sold separate from a sofa. - I don't know that leaving the country and coming back would make a difference. Even fully qualified military dependents have a hard time getting civilian jobs on post here. A large number of the jobs go to Koreans. Even without that, the definition I've found for an 'ordinary resident' is as follows: Ordinary Resident of U.S. A person who normally lives in the U.S. To meet this definition, an individual must normally maintain a residence in the U.S., receive their mail there, and have their household goods at their U.S. residence, etc. (Note: “Ordinarily resident” is not identical to “legal residence” even though a person may be “ordinarily resident” at his place of “legal residence”. The term “ordinarily resident” refers to the place where a person is actually living in other than a transient or temporary capacity at the time of hire. Since you obviously live in Korea, it is unlikely that they would give you a job, if you left the country and came back. You would likely have to move back to the States entirely, then reapply and only return once you were given the job.

- Overall this is a personal preference, but consider the cost factor of your new sofa and your lifestyle. Do you have kids, pets? Is this a quality sofa that you will keep several years? Dark sofa while dramatic, creates a focal point, when you walk into the room. And the eyes will be drawn to it, A Light sofa, will 'float' making less of a statement, as the remainder of your room is also light. With a light sofa you should add several contrasting toss pillows to hold things down visually. I was once in a similar situation and opted for a Tan ( think regular cup of coffee ) color Sofa. I placed an area rug in front of the sofa / love seat in deep earth tones colors and patterened. Use of the area rug grounded the room and provided the room to visually appear balanced.
- Q:HeyI am moving out to new apartment and wanted to go for a new sofa. My husband insists on having a full recliner sofa which has dimensions 90#92;L x 42#92;H x 45#92;D. Now the problem is that the recliner might be just too big and bulky for the apartment(that's what I think,though not sure). - I would suggest buying a recliner sofa as you can always take rest on a recliner but not on a normal sofa. A normal sofa will take much space and will also not be very comfortable as compared to the recliners. I have two recliners for my living area, and they are very comfortable and relaxing.
