Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

As the above graphic instruction,the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition,medium requirement,seal requirement,etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve,installed on the body,which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force.When secondary seal is required,there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring.The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball,and then stop the leakage.

The intake and exhaust valves in a four stroke engine are timed to allow air intake on the the intake stroke, both closed on the compression and power stroke and the exhaust valve open on the exhaust stroke. The valves on a two stroke engine are generally automatic reed type check valves that allow for an intake stroke and close for the compression and power stroke.

Q:Is there a devise to reverse the flow to a cylinder. Not the pump. But a inline flow deverter that would shift the flow from one side of the cylinder to the other at the end of the stroke automatically without a person interjecting.ie it extends fully then the flow reverses retracting it fully. Then the flow reverses, and it extends fully and so on.Preferably, with as little lag as possible during the transition.I want the pump to run constantly(not reversing) and the cylinder to run constantly. Do not worry about the heat generated.Would love something that ran off the main cylinder(like a secondary piston or valve that would opendivert flow at the end of the stroke) through linkage. But, I am open to electronics if need be. Further more want the return to be metered so that the push and pull forces will be the same(metered through a smaller opening to adjust for the rod).Thankyou

Q:Why would oil be leaking from a blow off valve?i own a 05' gti 1.8t, i have had the blow off valve for about a year now, its a HKS SSQV, but i just revently noticed that when it blows off, there is a spray of oil that comes out..... why would it be leaking oil through the blow off valve? i know VW dont really go well with blow off valves, but it hasnt given me any problems until recently....
Most likely oil wouldn't leak from your BOV. I would either think it's your intercooler or air filter (depending on your setup) that's bad because with so much air being drawn, a lot of moisture (especially in high humidity or wet days) and sum dirt is built up and compressed and we all know cold compressed air liquifies, or it could also be because your bov timing is off so too much air is too greatly compressed when the throttle is shut that the air liquifies and is spit out the BOV. Take apart your turbo intake tubing and see if there's liquid on the walls. If the problem starts from something blocking your BOV, than it will enter a repeating cycle because the liquid will prevent the excess air from being released and it will build and liquify even more. I guess it could also be because the hot side heats the air before it's compressed, therefore creating liquids but then just about every BOV would spray liquids. If it is oil, it's coming from your turbo so some seal is probably broken. If it is, than you need to get your waste gate fixed along with the seal because that's what controls your turbine speed.

Endocarditis is usually caused by bacteria. When symptoms are prevalent, blood cultures are done to detect what sort of bacteria is present. Many types of bacteria can cause endocarditis. Normally, blood flows smoothly through heart valves. But if they have been damaged, by some other medical condition, defense mechanisms (such as white blood cells) cannot enter the valves. Then bacteria can have a chance to take a hold on these valves. So if bacteria establishes a hold on the valves, the body cannot get rid of them. Antibiotics can be used to treat the infection. If antibiotics does not work, then the infected valves are removed surgically and replaced with transplants or artificial valves. I hope this helps. good luck
Q:I am looking for a full valve guitar amp for around ?300.It needs to be loud enough to play with a quietish drum kit.Currently i have looked at an epiphone valve senior in both and combo and cab and head form. i have also looked at some smaller amps such as the vox ac4 but am a bit worried about its small size. any advice would be greatly welcome. many thanks in advance.
Well I have the Valve Jr. and the AC4. The AC4 is a good sounding amp, but even though it is only 1 watt less, the Valve Jr. is much louder. The AC4 is a great practice amp but not enough to jam with a drummer unless he is pretty quiet and you really crank the amp. Never heard one of the new Valve Sr. models but with all of the goodies they added it should sound really good. I had my Jr. modified but it still doesn't have all the cool stuff the Senior has. I think you would really like the Epiphone and at 20 watts you will be more than loud enough. My 5 watt Jr. will get very loud. All I own are low watt class A valve amps, it's the only way to fly!! The Marshall Class 5 might be worth looking at also.
Q:My pressure reducing valve has gone bad. This looks like a pretty simple change. My question is do i loosen the union nut first (after draining water line), then loosen the whole valve??? Then reverse to install??? Any info would be great....
Sometimes a valve can get something stuck in the valve like rust or sand and just need flushing. The reason you have a pressure reducing valve is because of the high main pressure. If you have a tight system it will build up pressure even if the valve is good if you do not have an expansion tank for your hot water tank this will also make your water heater vent about a quarter cup most every time it fires up if no faucets are leaking. You need to know how to shut off the pressure from the main. Then you are right it is simple to change the valve. The city has crazy pipe threads that you can't get but I don't think they would be on your pressure regulator Some cities have smart meters and I think they may know when you shut the valve off to the meter. Some one may be out to see why the meter stopped. The cut off valve and the meter belongs to the city or water provider in most places. Most cities do not want you to operate their valve
