WHY don't we have a car right now in 2010 that gets 100+ mpg?Ok we have the Honda Insight and Toyota Prius that get 50MPG+ WELL why not DOUBLE or TRIPLE or QUADRUPLE the Batteries and get 100MPG??? No the capacitor will not make it possible. The fridge needs to run on a certain amount of power and your generator gives off a certain amount of power. This means that the generator only provides a certain amount of energy for certain amount of time where is the fridge needs more. The only way to make up that difference is to increase the amount of energy generation per unit time. Capacitors themselves don't produce any energies they just store it releases suddenly therefore it may be able to start the fridge for a little bit but it won't be able to continuously run it. Also don't try this, because if you power a compressor on short cycles, this is the fastest way to destroy a compressor. You just need a bigger generator.

if hte control rods had not be inserted it would of catastrophic. the reactors would be working at 100% and no one can shut it down becasue there is no power. left for too long and unable to stop the reaction, it could lead to an actual meltdown like at the Chernobyl. there's a good reason why during any emergency the control rods are inserted. its standard protocol since the very first nuclear reactor experiments back in the late 1930s under some gym in the eastern USA. you want to shut down the most dangerous thing first, the one that has the most potential for catastrophe before doing anything else.

Does the Esab welder have high frequency? If so the high freq. is feeding back into the generator and frying the electronics. You may need to have the generators repaired. The only way to prevent damage is to turn the high freq. off, or drive an earth ground as close to the welder as possible and you have to run a wire to your grounding clamp to this ground and the machine ground needs to go to this also. You have to get the high freq. out of the circuit as quick as possible. (I have a Hobart Champion Fabshop that is notorious for this.)

Well. first insight. If by new you mean the 1940s you are dead nut. Pretty ALL of the trains you see are diesel electric and have been since the 1950s. Here's how any Fuel-electric system works: You have a fuel. In the case of a diesel engine your fuel is Any stable liquid that burns. You burn that fuel in a chamber of some kind such that you create a physical motion. Pistons and cranks is the rule of thumb. You take that motion usually in the form of rotation, and you use it to move a magnet past a coil of wire. A magnet moving past a coil produces electricity, which you can now use to drive an electric motor, or charge batteries, or play Youtube or whatever. Diesel engines have a huge advantage over traditional internal combustion engines, (although diesel came first by like 12,000 years :). They require no spark, and they can burn darn near anything. The whole concept of a Diesel engine is that when you compress something, it heats up. If what you are compressing is flammable, and you compress it enough, it will ignite and burn. This turns out to be exactly true, and why you can run your 1982 VL Golf Diesel on a bottle of corn oil in a pinch.
Q: I recently seperated the generator from the engine and replaced the rear main oil seal on the engine the electric generator was only moved back about 16-18 inches to access rear main seal. job went well with no problems after completeing job I turned down rpms to about 1000 rpm It was put back in service They use it to power up refer containers from the harbor. the next day I check it and they had turned up rpms to ??? as fast as it would run and 12 refer units running off it oh it's 480 volt well it ran for a week non stop and broke down and of corse it was my fault all i did was unbolt drive plate on front of rotor from flywheel of engine .est to repair is 6,000 could this be my fault after it ran for a week or caused from hi rpms and heat related possibley
If they need a scapegoat, you're it. However if it ran for 168 hours on a diesel engine and things were not RE-torqued/double checked

drain the tank and discard the mixed fuel refill with unleaded and it should be fine
