- Sweep away the trash out of the way, with a floor brush, broom, or a swiffer. Try a small spot first, to see which product works well enough, the Vinegar & Baking Soda, or the Chlorine Bleach. Pour enough Baking Soda on the dirty grout, covering the dirt, then pour enough Vinegar over the Baking Soda, enough to make a small volcano. Both Vinegar and Baking Soda together will make a Little Bubbling Volcano. If the Baking Soda & Vinegar does not work as well, try pouring Chlorine Bleach instead. You can use a little bit of water with the bleach if you don't like the strong smell of Chlorine. After letting the little volcano set for a while, scrub it with the Floor Brush, until most of the dirt is gone. Or if you used the Chlorine Bleach, instead of the Baking Soda & Vinegar, also scrub the floor with the brush or electric machine. If some dirt is still left on the Tile Grout, use a floor steamer to absorb and clean the rest of the dirt inside the tile grout. After using the floor steamer, use a wet mop to wipe off the residue from the product you used. Let it dry completely, before stepping and enjoying your clean Tile Floor.

- Q: I am nearing completion of construction for my own new 2 story home. - Just make sure you don't create a tripping hazzard. Purchase a hardwood stair nosing to match your stair treads (Oak?). Then make sure that the nosing hangs past the stair riser the same as the others. It will probably be Thicker than the flooring but you can take it to a local cabinet shop and have them cut a rabbett ( an offset) in it . Good Luck

- I might help you out with this one. It's not that hard. You need to use your 2 fingers. Do you have android? If so, I know it might not work with multi-touch and you have to download some sort of program to make it work for multi-touch. P.S. we also have the solution to level 5.

- This factor usually happens when the foundation floor is not straight , if someone could add extra support from the basement this will even up the floor above, whoever installed your floors was probable off level when they did so, and the only way to fix this would be to remove the boards and work with the sub floor, but .....that's too much work and an extra expense to you unless you still have a valuable warranty , I wouldn't bother otherwise. .

- Q: we have a floor that is not level. The one side of the room is 1 and 1/2 inch lower than the other. This is a 200 year old home. We are wondering if we can use one of the floor leveling agents over top of the vinyl flooring that is glued down already, then put down a new "no glue" vinyl floor over it?Thank you, Cheri
