Q:well most of my question is up top but im a 13 year old boy and i have bin itrsested in egineering for a while and im probly going to college for that any way my dad said a couple days ago that when he was a kid him and his uncle built a chainsaw engine go cart so i want to build one to i havent bin able to any body selling a motor at gerage sales or in my family and theres nothing in my gerage or shed so how much would it cost to buy all of my parts i need for it i know it will take a long time to save up for it so figured i would bye the parts one bye one and put them on and i would by the motor first so if any one could estimate how much it would cost for every part and a cheep 6 hp engine online thats not ebay that would be great oh and reel answers
basically like with any motorized motor vehicle there are numerous factors to contemplate.... - finished weight of motor vehicle with passenger(s) - Gearing - Torque (this is quite a extra perfect thank you to gauge an engines power) - Rolling resistance - Aerodynamics So, given your information this is no longer particularly obtainable to confirm.
Q:I'm working on learning how to be more self-sufficient, and living quot;off the grid.quot; One of the things I've been researching is gardening. Specifically, I'm wanting to start a well balanced fruit and vegetable garden. I live in the NorthWest, and we get a lot of rain. The hottest it gets is like 100 in the summer, and things usually freeze in the winter. What should I grow in my garden? The goal is to be able to grow food to provide for my family all year around. Yes, I understand I'll need to store some of it through the winter, and that I can hunt and fish, etc. Also, let's just say the size of the garden can be as big as needed, so no worries there. My focus is on what specifically should I grow to have a well balanced diet ongoing.
it really depends on what you and your family like. you can also try new vegetables that you have not tried in the past. we have our own garden for a family of 5-where we grow tomatoes (you can make your own salsa), corn that you freeze for the winter months, cucumbers to eat fresh with salads or pickle them, okra can be fried, baked, or pickled. you can also do squash, eggplant, onions, swiss chard, peppers, broccoli. the list is really endless. you have so many choices. i would plant many rows of things that you know your family would eat and half rows of things that you are unsure of. i hope this helps and good luck.
Q:I like Better Homes and Garden and Oprah.

Q:Hi I'm trying to create a mini home garden of veggies like spinach, lettuce varieties, cherry tomatoes, basil chives ..etc. And some flowersMy little seedlings are growing well the have just germinated and are sproutingBut in some pots I didn't use pots with holes in the bottom simply because I didn't find any good ones is this going to affect my plants?! What can I do to get around it? I am worried about the nitrogen stacking up in the soilAnother thing is do u have any ideas for sprouts o leaves that are edible, a nice quick harvest and that can grow in small pots like beansprouts for example.. I can't seem to recall any names of these VeggiesI would appreciate any kind of hone gardening tips and Ideas so please feel free to elaborate or summarize, be creative or realistic I could use all and everything
Well, I always use pots with holes. Plants don't like wet feet, except they're pond plants. Use some base layer (gravels, or some crushed bricks) then put the soil. (not garden soil as they will turn firm and soggy, for beginners use ready to use soil based potting mix) For worrying about the nitrogen stuff, adding perlite to your soil are the solution, they will absorbs the nutrients and keep them inside the soil. Alfalfa sprouts are quick, they just like bean sprout. :)
Q:I want to build my dream home on my computer and was just wondering if anybody out there knew of a web site or software that I could do that with.
There is a huge range of options available from free to $Thousands ... so it depends how serious you are. One of the best programs is Chief Architect. A functional demo is available free, but the real thing is expensive. An educational version -- which puts a watermark on plans but otherwise is fully functional -- is available for a lot less money. Others include Cadsoft Build, Punch, 3D Home Architect, IMSI FloorPlan 3D, Better Homes and Gardens Home Designer, and a free one --- Design Workshop Lite. A major concern should be whether you simply want to draw 2D floorplans to take to a real designer / architect to show your ideas, or you want to do final quality plans in a format that can be shared / edited by an architect / designer (and which allow 3D relationships to be visualized and even allow walkthroughs and costing, etc. Punch and 3D Architect are pretty good for the $$, while Chief Architect would be my choice for serious work. See the links for some further info. Hope this helps.
Q:Someone asked the question a few days ago about the possibility of changing the name of garden and landscape or creating another category for the the youngsters that are always asking about caring for their weed. I hate to think of anyone contributing to these kids ruining their health, or worse, and maybe those questions should be banned altogether. But while we're at it, how about another new category for answers only, titled quot;Don't have a clue, but feel compelled to answer anywayquot;?
Or how about I don't know, but thanks for the 2 points....lol. Yes, those mary jane questions which seem to pop up on a daily basis are quite annoying aren't they? I assume they can be reported as dangerous to kids' well being eh? And they are suppose to be are fearless leaders of tomorrow!. What is the world coming to.... ...Billy Ray
Q:I won this item at the fair, just wondered how much it was worth, I can't really find it online. All the information I have on it is that its manufactured by Home Essentials and Beyond, and that it says 6 Rocks, 12 Oz on the side.
If okorder /. they have several possibilities that might match yours. I only looked at the first page, and prices ranged from $12 to $15.
Q:(Fae not gay people) I need help! I believe in fae and if you don't believe simply click the back space button
you want to attract Fae - simple, they like water and lots of plants, especially woody plants - lots of those 2 in your house, call them nicely, and play cool music like death metal
Q:able to take in a chihuahua in Garden Grove CA or any other city around.
Why dont you check petfinder or craigslist. But you may have to pay a small rehoming fee.. Very few dogs are free.
Q:My city is experiencing Stage 2 water restrictions. Could you please explain the following?1. What the Aquifer level has to be for each stage to take affect.2. What each stage-limit entails.3. Do restrictions differ from state-to-state? 4. Is it a necessity to water your yard, other than it looking nice? Does it mess with foundation(or whatever)?5. How many stages are there?6. Can the aquifer run completely out of water? What would you do then? P.S: I posted this in HomeGarden, 1 person answered, not much info...didn't know where else to post. sorry...
I answered your other question (in HomeGarden), but thought that you might be interested in a recent news article as well. Althought the Bush Administration is reporting $800 million to help drought stricken farmers, this is money already earmarked for such projects and does nothing to help the individual families in these same areas.
