CU/XLPE/PVC/STA/PVC Copper conductor XLPE insulated Steel Tape Armoured Power cable , 0.6/1KV,

Q:Included in my EVGA 8800gs box was a 6 pin to 2x 4 pin molex power cable. My current power supply already had a 6 pin power cable. My Cooler Master 500w power supply has dual rails pushing 16amp each. The requirements for the EVGA 8800gs are:Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply.(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 22 Amp Amps.)Notice the 22 amp. To supply this power, am I supposed to connect the 6 pin to 2x 4 pin molex power cable to each of the 16amp rails from my power supply therefor providing 32amp? How am I supposed to get 22amps to the card? Most all power supplies I see that are dual railed go no higher than 20amp per rail.Any thoughts? Thanks,Brad
You can plug the standard 6 pin from your PSU the way it is and play a game and if the pc freezes or shuts off during game play then you know wehre the problem is. Do not worry about the exact specifics it wants. If you put the two 4 pin molex connections in so you can use one 6 pin then that might be more reliable as far as power flow but only do that after you try the standard 6 pin because of your limit on availible 4 pin molexs
Q:on a 600 watt amp will it blow my amp?
you mean the power cable that comes in a 1200 watt wiring kit, no because it most likely is only 6 gauge wire and most amps wont accept power wires bigger than they can handle
Q:Big god speed to ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ much needed
The length of the cable bracket is determined by how much the cable is
Q:Hi. I just purchased a hp slimline S3420F used from OKorder. (dumb move, I know) Anyway it worked for a few days and now it won't turn on. The power supply light on the back is one but the computer won't come on. I was looking in the trouble shooting guide and one thing that is suggested is to reseat the hard disk data and power cables. It says for instructions to refer to a manual that I can't get because it's on my computer. I am on a public computer now and can't upload the manual to this computer. I switched the voltage to 230 and back to 115 real quick and that worked once. Probably just a coincidence. Now it just won't boot at all. LIke I said, the green power supply light on the back of the computer is on. I can read replies from my cell phone so perhaps someone can give me some ides what to do. I'm sure the answer lies in taking it to a repair shop. :(
i'm assuming which you have a computer computer. in any different case they does not have instructed you that. ok, skill off; take the area panel off and you will see the motherboard, adapter taking part in cards, disk drives, and skill grant. the skill grant supplies you countless working voltages to the equipment by skill of skill of distinctive coloured wires. you will see they bypass to the countless aspects in the equipment. you have 2 or extra drives on your equipment and you'll be the optical (cd/dvd) power. The plug with the crimson yellow and black leads are the skill leads. pull that out and reseat it. it might desire to be comfortable so use care. in case you have an IDE no longer easypersistent it might desire to have a similar plug. If it rather is sata it rather is going to likely be a flat cable. the cable that passes information to those drives would be the two a eighty conductor flat ribbon cable or a sata cable it rather is a lot smaller;(reseat) get rid of and replace those. final and the single's you % to be maximum cautious with are the cables to the motherboard itself. in case you stick to the cables from the drives, you will see the place they terminate on the motherboard. Use warning right here to verify you do no longer positioned undue rigidity on the motherboard. additionally in any respect situations attempt to maintain in touch with the equipment case to keep away from static discharge.
Q:I don't want to run it under the car, but I can't find a place to run it through the firewall... Do I need to drill a hole?
I think you need to look at what ever is going through the fire wall first. often you will find things like speedo cables and other cables that go through it using a grommet, if they is a 8mm plus one used you could puch your power cable through the same grommet, this will save the drilling but if you do have to drill use a grommet to seal the hole, it costs only cents.
Q:The computer is a Hp compaq. So I took the connector out of the computer but left it in the power socket. When I tried to reinsert the connector I hit the metal back panel of the computer and it made contact so I was wondering what is the part(s) that is likely to be broken?I want to know it so I can replace the damaged parts. Thanks in advance of your help.
...might want to be check that you didn't trip the house breaker for that outlet. As in plug something else into it and see if it gets power....
Q:Electrical equipment installation project "power cable laying" cable cross-sectional area refers to the cable cross-sectional area, or refers to the copper core cross-sectional area, such as 3 × 25mm2 refers to 25mm. 75mm2 or cable cross-sectional area of 490mm2? More
Said cross-linked polyethylene insulation, double steel armor, PVC outer jacket. Voltage level 0.6 to 1 kV, 5 core, cross section 10 square millimeters. About four centimeters in diameter.
Q:Can a PoE powered cause a surge if I connect it to a Gigabit ethernet port?PoE Switch --gt; UTP cable --gt; Non-poe Gigabit Ethernet Switch
No, the PoE switch will initiate the connection with a low voltage signal to determine if the device at the other supports PoE or not. If not, it doesn't apply a current.
Q:I have a Dell Latitude D505. I do not need comments on whether I have a good laptop or not. That's not the point.I heard a tiny pop sound, and after that, my laptop is not recognizing the power cable. I don't think it's the cable. I've tried restarting the computer. Any suggestions?
the brick adapter is usually the prime target for shortages to laptop computers, they are replaceable and you might consider a surge protector
Q:i want to run a power cable from my battery from under the hood to my trunk for a amp that i want to power. i have a 94 mercury cougar. and i have seen it done under the car and through the firewall into the cockpit, if i want to run it through the firewall which way do i put it through? can someone send me a link to a pictured instructions? or just tell me how? thanx
if you run the power line in the cabin, run it on the opposite side of the RCA cables you are going to run from the deck to the amp. This will reduce any magnetic interference caused by current in the power line affecting the signal source.
