Q:My check engine light came on so I went to Auto Zone and they plugged in the gadget thing and the code read System Too Lean. So the associate suggested it was the fuel injectors were not giving enough gas to the engine and had me put fuel injector fluid in the gas tank, which I did along with a full tank of gas. She said if it wasn‘t my fuel injectors that the light would come back on. Lo and behold, the light cam e back on. Also my car is sucking up sooo much gas, I‘m down to a half a tank when it was just a full tank a couple days ago and I havent driven that much. Any insight on what this might be? thanks.

too lean could be the cam sensor. what ever it is the engine is,nt getting enough gas. it even could be the fuel filter.

Q:I just purchased a 2007 Subaru Legacy GT with about 140k miles on it. It has been driving just fine for 2 days, but I decided to fuel up with mid grade gas instead of the recommended premium, and now the check engine light is of with the flashing green cruise light. Could the mid grade gas cause this? The engine still sounds fine and I don‘t see any other problems.

First off will someone else report Sean so they will throw him off answers. The grade of fuel will not make a big difference and will not turn the engine light on nor would the light come on if you need a oil change. It will come on if you didn't put the fuel cap on tight. It would be best to have the code read at a auto parts store that does that for free, then you will at least know what the code is for.

locate the brain to the alarm and pull the fuse. all systems will go back to normal. at that point you should be able to start and drive again.

Q:sears told me it will take 2 weeks to get parts (los angeles) is this normal ?

first you need to know if it is gas or elec. Then you need to see if you registered the heater to make sure the warranties is active.and if its going to take that long you should ask sears who repairs or covers their warranty then call them.O if you didn't register the heater THEY WILL CHARGE YOU a trip fee,parts and labor.and one one more thing.labor usually is not covered in the warranty. but it can just be a thermal coupler

it should not be a problem all that matters is that they are 26 the 1.75 are thinner and the 2.125 are a bit thicker but yeah you can switch them.

If the computer shows no sign of start up. First check the power cord, both ends and make sure that it is in the socket and connected to the computer. If nothing happens you may have a hard ware problem. Remove the battery and leave it out of the computer. Try again to get it to start up, if it does not you will need to take the power supply by a local repair or service shop and have it tested. If it test good you have a hard ware problem. This type of problem calls for you to sub in parts until you find the problem. This is hard for a home user to do as you will not have the parts like hard drive, memory, cpu and other items. So you will have to take your computer in for a estimate. Local shop have lower prices and faster service than the big box stores.To get a good accurate answer give the brand, model number, installed operating system of the laptop when asking a question as all PC's are not the same. eBay baby I got mine there for about the same price that a local shop would charge me for a new one. The only difference is that the shop would keep my original. On eBay I got to keep mine as a back up. If you do get a high output alt. you'd be glad you did but you gotta make sure you upgrade the big 3 well good luck!

sounds like you have a seal perished in the master cylinder or the wheel cylinders,this will cause fluid to be black.check if there is fluid on brake shoes
