- No, you really can't. The effort and money that would be spent on it would far exceed the cost of a new cable.
- Q:Okay after installing Deus Ex on a brand new PS3 slim I pressed the start button and when the screen went black the console hanged, I couldn't even press the PS button, at the suggestion of a friend I yanked the power cable. Now it works fine but I'm wary of putting Deus Ex back in, I doubt that its regioning since there's no such thing. Any ideas and troubleshooting solutions?BTW what are the consequences to yanking the power cable.

- It's simple really. If you have a drill will a power cord attached to it, simply drill a hole big enough for the power wire to fit thru. Try to do it about midway down the firwall as to not hit anything in your dash. Thats where I have done it before and have had no problems whatsoever out of it.

It came with a supplemental power supply cord, one end goes into the card, and there are 2 heads on the other end, and i can only find 1 place to plug in a single head into my power supply... When i turn the computer on the fan on the card turns on so i assume enough power is being given to the card, yet when i log in and put in the Installation disk, it says quot;not foundquot;... i already locked the card in, and i tried re adjusting the card multiple times but that doesn't do anything so i'm sure putting in the card incorrectly isn't the case. help! :(
- If your power supply doesn't have a PCIe power connecter then it is almost certainly not powerful enough to run the card. You need a better power supply. Next time read the requirements for the video card and make sure you know what it's saying. Did you even plug your monitor into the card after installing it? I said that if your POWER SUPPLY does not have a PCIe plug, then it's almost certainly not powerful enough to run that card. Adapters mean squat.

- im sure it comes with a power harness(plug) you prob have to do some splicing just connect it t0 the same place where you get power for the cd player your probably going to get a wire harness for your cd player right? just match the wires from your cd to your ipod thingy before you solder or crimp your connections

- I would say that jack that the power cord plugs into has come loose from the motherboard. It may at times have enough of a connection to work at some times. To confirm this, you could gently wiggle the power cord and see if it shows it is working on AC power. To fix this you will have to have it soldered back on. I have sold many Acer laptops, they are more reliable then many other brands.

- You okorder /... It takes two 4-pin PSU molex connectors and converts it into 1 6-pin PCIe connector. Make sure your PSU can supply the necessary amps on its +12V rails, and if you got a PSU with multiple +12V rails, you need to make sure you got the load spread out among different rails to avoid overloading one rail.
- Q:He has made a couple of really small slits in the black plastic on the wire, all in the same place, but on both sides. I can see silver through it, but no other colours. I have unplugged it from the laptop and the mains, as I assume I shouldn't use it. However, it is the bit attached to the big square thing (sorry, I don't know what it is called), does that have a charge, so should I do something special with the wire? Now can I hook up the iphone to the same cable? or is it gonna be drawing too much power? thxI was planning on buying the cigarrete lighter thing, and pluging the iphone into that. - Basically no, they are better wired separately unless you calculate the load. A ciggy lighter socket is not water proof so find a proper bike socket. BMW do them, You need to work out what the total load of these 2 are, and check the output of your alternator and the capacity of your battery to make sure you have enough ''spare'' power. What make of bike is it? What's the battery capacity and the output from the alternator. Electrics on modern bikes are usually good enough for accessories, I run 100w headlight 2 x 50w spots, sat nat phone and audio, not always all together, so do some sums on what power you have otherwise if it's only a small battery and alternator you could run the battery own whilst riding.
