Q:do you have super strength, and proved it by lifting cars?
Well I was a bodybuilder, moved to powerlifting, moved to strongman for 3 years, took 2 years off and now I'm powerlifting again. When I was doing strongman I could roll a hatchback with the engine out. I could lift a hatch with the engine in off the ground. What you have to understand is that takes years of hard training. I really wouldn't recommend trying to lift a car unless you can and know how to do it properly. It can really damage you.
Q:I have a 1997 lincoln town car that i want to put 22 rims on but i dont want to have to change the suspension at all or lift it, can i do that, my granddad thinks it wont fit but im sure it will, need help please, if they can then need help knowin what rim offset and tire measurements to be looking for
They may fit BUT you will loose some of your braking ability.
Q:I drive 50 MPH in high winds driving against the wind. What are the chances of my car lifting up?
The best thing for you to do my friend is just to start using STP oil treatment . Put in one bottle at every oil change. The detergents in STP will clean your engine out over time providing you change oil every 3000 miles and that you use a good quality motor oil. It will remove the sludge and varnish while adding a layer of protection to your engine's moving parts. I use it in all my personal vehicles and it is very good stuff. STP oil treatment has been on the market longer than I have been alive. Let that be proof for itself. I have had many machine shop operators that has done work for me in the past tell me that he can tell when someone uses STP on a regular basis. It literally bakes into the metal on the engine. PLEASE DO NOT USE ENGINE FLUSHES. It thins out the motor oil viscosity to a very dangerous level and can cause the rings to scratch the cylinder walls because the flush has taken away the lubricating properties of motor oil. If this happens, then your engine has to be overhauled. I have had many engines come through my shop where the owner says that they used such a product and has ended up costing big time $$$$. . I don't know why the stuff is even allowed to be sold. PLEASE DO NOT USE ENGINE FLUSHES!!!
Q:My car has two hydraulic lifts on it.. one goes down all the way but the other only goes down maybe 95% of the way... So one side of my hood is closed fully while the other side is ajar a little.. Is there a way to release some of the pressure??
uhmm there just those little air things if im thinking rite like they have on doors....you just go to your local scrapyard or lordco or shucks and pick a couple up
Q:to a second piston with a radius of 15.0cm. a) how large a force must the compressed air exert to a lift a 1.33x10^4N car? b)what pressure produces this force? neglect the weight of the pistons.
The compressed air must exert a force greater than 1.477x10^3N because the ratio of piston surface areas is 9:1 (15/2)^2 / (5/2)^2 9 Pressure must be in excess of 236.44N/cm^2 or 23.644 bar. The 236.44 comes from 13300N / (15/2)^2 cm which is of course also 1477.77N / (5/2)^2 cm (equal pressure for the two pistons, different forces proportional to the piston areas)
Q:My friend has a garage with a car lift at his house and when I went to raise the car to deactivate the emergency lock it only lifted the passenger side and it made a rattling noise. Please help my car is stuck up in the air.
get a load equalizer for the LED. about 15 bucks.
Q:Now second-hand car maintenance with the lift how much money ah?

Q:ok so im a girl and for my first car, i found a full sized 4wd lifted primed ford bronco. would it look stupid or dumb for me to be drivin that like i know i should care what it looks like but i just dont want to look like an idiot or nothin ha and also how do they handle? and speed and trans wise how do they run? any answers would be great thanks yall!
Oh man its a bucket of rust on wheels! But for some reason, I LOVE broncos. It's not exactly reliable though. I've heard bad stories about them, but my friend has one and it runs great. Horrible fuel economy as well If you want it, go for it. I personally love broncos. Gonna look into getting one myself, but I'm also a mechanic and can fix it if something goes wrong.
