Q: lately ive been really into cars and i was wondering what are some cool things other than lambo doors and lifting it?
Lambo doors are really stupid, you spend a lot of money and/or work to do what - make the doors open in a different direction? The don't improve the car in any way, when the doors are shut it looks exactly the same. You don't drive around with the doors open, right? So the only time anyone would see these cool doors is when you're getting in or out. Lifting it is another pointless modification, it makes the car ride and handle MUCH worse that stock, and also costs a bunch. When you're done, these two modifications will cost you thousands and lower the value of the car since very few people would want either of these things. Cool things should be things that make the car perform better (or at least not worse) and also look good all the time, not just sometimes. Nice wheels with high performance tires will look good and can make the car handle better. A custom paintjob or some graphics can dress up a car for relatively little money.
Q: My passenger side tire has a nail in it. Its losing air really really slowly. I will not be able to bring it in until Tuesday and do not have a spare tire. I was going to drive another car, but could I lift the passenger side with a jack to relieve tire pressure on it? Would this be a good idea?If not please let me know what I should do so I can make it to belle tire safely on tuesday for them to patch it up for me. Helpful comments only please. Thanks!
maximum secure decision is to place your spare on and get on your nearest tyre depot. There are various factors dictating as to if or no longer it somewhat is repaired, IE has it been pushed on flat? the place is the hollow? how vast is it? what's the linked fee score of the tyre? any previous upkeep? it somewhat isn't any longer cautioned to force on a tyre with a nail in in any respect . Having mentioned all that usually all you get is a nail that hasn't easily punctured the tyre. the thank you to discover that's to place some soapy water on the nail then wiggle it gently. any sign of bubbles or foaming denotes an air leak so be arranged to alter the wheel in case this happens. in spite of you do i might get it appeared after earlier too long
Q: Using a rearwheel drive car. How do I keep the brakes locked up while shifting at the same time? I‘m trying to learn how shift from first to second third forth fifth gear just sitting there and burning up the rubber.
if you are doing a wheel stand, you are not worried about shifting. if you want to burn tires up, look into a line lock kit. this would allow you to leave the front brakes engaged and the back tires free to spin.
Q: car force exerted on an angle of 60 with the horizontal be able to lift an object?
Of course, but as the angle gets smaller so does the lifting force.
Q: if you are moving with an average 20Km/hr!!! i know no one drives a car this slow but i need this power for aboom lift!!
Not all vehicles are created equally, as I had hoped we all knew. So the answer depends on how heavy the car is, how big its engine is--like the number and displacement size of its cylinders--etc. You have to get a number of specific details before this question can be answered with much accuracy. Oh, wait. you're going to move it with a boom lift, right? Well then, in that case, the vehicle's own engine/transmission power won't come into play, but then you still have to know how much mass the vehicle has.
Q: The kind that can lift cars, and can be interchangeable to a bucket and forks.
It's a forklift certification
Q: My car is a little too low to easily change the oil. I would like to lift it 3. What is the safest way? I don‘t want to be crushed. I was thinking of nailing a bunch of boards, maybe 3 of them that are 1 thick and put them under all 4 tires. Safe?I do not have jack stands but could but it. No way am I going to work under a tire jack.
Jack it up, and then place strong, dense timbers or blocks under the chassis rails, make sure you lower off the jack and then give a good hefty 'wiggle test' to make sure the car is going NOWHERE.
Q: I‘m 15 and my dad‘s teaching me how to drive We only own a manual car so I‘m learning on it! We practice in a parking lot that‘s mostly flat but has some hills. We pretend there are stop signs in random places to practice stopping and going. Whenever i stop on a hill I can manage to stop fine just when I start going again I seem to ALWAYS stall it. My dad says I take my foot off the clutch too quickly. Is there any trick to avoid this?
Let the car start to roll a little before you let out more clutch, roll a little faster let out more clutch, and so on
