1.Description

Household foil is available in a variety of formats. In addition to a range of widths and lengths there are textured versions and ready-cut sheets, making it easy to use without unreeling and tearing. ‘Non-stick’ foil can solve many problems, such as baked-on food. Another special foil is black on one side, which transfers radiant heat more efficiently from the black side, making it ideal for roasting.

Most households are used to having aluminium foil in the home. It has become an essential part of modern household convenience – for cooking, reducing cleaning chores in the kitchen and for its many uses around the home, garden or workshop. In commercial kitchens too – restaurants, canteens, schools and hospitals, etc.

Q:How strong would chain mail armor be if it were made of anodized aluminum? Thinking of getting this, but not sure if it is worth it.
Depends on what you mean by strong. Considering that the chain mail shirt on that site is butted mail (rings that have simply been bent closed).... If you are going to be using it for any contact re-enactment type stuff, or any kind of protective gear, definitely not. You can bend aluminum rings open with your bare fingers. So anything hitting that mail with force will destroy it very quickly. Even steel rings make for pretty useless protection if it is butted. The rings simply bend open. If you want protective chainmail, the rings will have to be either riveted or welded closed, and made of steel. If you mean durable for just wearing as cosplay or for a quirky fashion statement, then it will probably last a long time, though with aluminum, the rings have a tendency to bend open on their own. I?m not sure if anodized rings will do this because I?ve never used anodized rings. If you can get a riveted or welded version then that will certainly last a life time, but I wouldn?t use it as protective gear unless it was made of steel.
Q:What's the number of protons, neutrons, and electrons in an atom of aluminum-27? Why?
The atomic number of Aluminum is 13 (look at a periodic table)This means 13 protons and 13 electrons (since these are oppositely charged they have to balance each other.) To find the number of neutrons you subtract the number of protons from the atomic mass (the atomic mass is 27)So 27-13 14 neutrons
Q:A science-fair radio uses a homemade capacitor made of two 55cm x 55cm sheets of aluminum foil separated by a 0.30-mm-thick sheet of paperAssume dielectric constant of paper is 3.0.What is the capacitance? Please show the steps you used in solving this problemIt will be very helpfulThanks
No, it's not 80%I can tell that from just reading the questionPercent yield actual yield/theoretical yield x 100Actual yield is experimental, in this case 0.571g H (0.571mol, since H is 1g/mol)Theoretical yield is the yield in mols from the balanced stoichiometryAccording to your equation, 2Al + 3H2SO4 - Al2(SO4)3 + 3H2 theoretical yield of H is 3 mols (3g) The in front of any molecule in a stoichiometry equation is of mols made/needed in a balanced reactionTherefore, percent yield is: 0.571mol/3mol 0.1903, x 100 19.03% yieldHow you got 80, I have no ideaBut it's very very wrongSorryHope this helps for future calculations! :)
Q:I just started work as a cashier at our local Barnes and Noble about 2 weeks ago and had a questionLately we`ve been having alot of books being stolen and in an attempt to try to help, I want to understand HOW the people who steal actually do itI mean, we have the bar code detector machines at the entrance doors and to the bathrooms so wouldn`t the price bar code set it off? And we have cameras (or at least I think we doCan`t really tell since the newest tech often looks like smoke detectors.^^ guess that`s the point). And I never see anyone shoving books into backpacks or purses so I don`t know how they just walk out without paying without anyone noticing.I know our store has tried putting barcode tags INSIDE the pages and all but that doesn`t seem to work either. How are people getting away with this?
You don't.and no they don't exist.while pregnant a woman's baby can go up into her ribs and cause pain in the ribs, but that's as far as that goes.
