QTZ80(6010) FAQ

Q: What is the main structure of building hoist?

A: The P/M construction hoist mainly contains metal structure, driving system, electrical control system, cable guide & protection system, electrical top crane and safety device.

Q: How can we calculate how many mast section we need?

A: Mast section height is 1.508m, you can use the client’s building’s total height divided by the height of mast section, and you will get the quantity of mast section.

Q: How many tie-ins are needed?

A: The tiein is the linked part between mast and building and it is used to keep the stabilization of the mast. Distance between the tie-in is about 6~9m.

Q:I'm a little confused as to what the difference is between the crane and the flare boom-____- I'm thinking that the flare boom is what they use to burn off oil I there's a fire, but is that right? And what does the crane do?
Flares are used to burn off oil and gas that can not be transported to be processed without extensive costs. They can also be used at refineries as a safe way to release gas build ups in case of problems in the refining process occur. I imagine that a flare boom could be on the end of the crane but I know it's not always the case. The crane does what cranes do best... move things, usually from the ship to the platform or vise versa.
Q:My great grandparents' kamon was the crane and I was thinking of getting it as a tattoo for a symbol of my family. However, I'm not sure which it is. I've bought a book on Japanese Crests especially for this, and saw a couple of crane crests but was wondering if there's an origami crane kamon? And if there is, what is the meaning of it?Thank you very much for the help in advance!

Q:I am looking for guidance on determining the optimal design parameters for the design of an overhead travelling crane when considering a span of 60m and a lift requirement of 2500Tonnes. If not possible what would be the maximum lift for the same span
is the 60 is the traveling distance or the span? if it is the span then this no way can be achieved or found, also 2500 tons is not logic for a single lift, you need to verify the design requirements. Usually crane span is related to structural frame spans, the lift has to be a practical one, which ranges from 1 ton to a 250 tons which is again very rare, majority traveling cranes are from 1 ton to 25 tons
Q:Grade 4 build a working crane Help!?
Simple crane? Get a spool, maybe one from sewing thread. Attach it to a small base so that it can rotate freely. Put a pencil through the middle tight enough so that when the pencil rotates the spool rotates. Glue a tab on the end of the pencil at a right angle to the pencil so you have a handle. Attach string to the spool and then maybe a ruler or stick to a base lined up with the spool like a crane. Put a couple of eye hooks on the stick and feed the string through so it hangs down at the end of the stick, like a crane cable. At the end of the string put a springy clothspin so that when you pull the string the clothspin opens and closes. Now you can lift and lower the clothspin by rotating the spool with the pencil. Pulling on the string opens the pin to pick up things.
Q:Any difference?
The crane part can be identical, but the vehicle part differs: in the former case it's a road-going (even multi-axle) truck, in the latter case it's an off-road vehicle with oversize all-terrain tires and appropriate traction and transmission capabilities. In either case, the vehicle must be stabilized on adjustable hydraulic struts before hoisting.
Q:Can you eat those suckers ?
Hunting cranes is illegal in many areas. From what I've heard they are really good, a common phrase for them is ribeye in the sky. I can not say from experience, since they are illegal here, and even if you go through the hoops to get the federal damage permit, you still can't legally eat them with that permit. I have a buddy who this happened to, they were destroying his corn, he get the federal damage permit, and got in toruble for eating them since it's simply a damage permit. My understanding is a few states do have seasons on them, in which case eating them would be encouraged. So yes they are edible, and supposedly are excellent eating. It's just not legal in many areas.
Q:My grandma has just gotten cancer and I want to send her a paper crane in her get well card. However, is it bad luck to send just one, do you have to send 1,000? I would like to send 1,000 but i don't have the time, experience with origami, or enough room in the envelope, and i only have till tomorrow.
You can send her a few NICE paper cranes and write her a nice letter, it's the thought that counts.
Q:Hey i need to know what icabod crane did in sleepy hollow the tim burton version with johnny depp.. so far all i have is In the movie he is a detective or a constable, someone who tries to solve crimes. He stands up for what he believes in even though no one might stand up with him. He used instruments of his own kind. Any information will help..Thank you very much Thx again
Constable Ichabod Crane is a fictional character from the movie Sleepy Hollow, played by Johnny Depp. He is a New York policeman, sent to Sleepy Hollow to investigate a string of grisly murders. His horse is named Gunpowder. Ichabod's most notable traits in the movie include an ahead-of-his-time liking for post-mortem examinations and scientific methods.
Q:I'm getting a tattoo of a paper crane in about 2 weeks because to me it symbolizes creativity and an artistic talent. I dont want it to look like any other paper crane tattoo though and I have been having issues coming up with a small design to add into the tattoo. I have always loved art but will unfortunately will not be continuing my education of it because it is very difficult to get a job in the art field. All in all, i'm looking for help for adding a design in the paper crane tattoo that will represent the artist that I am.
Hey okorder / I reckon the Japanese tradition would really suit this style because of the crane is a Japanese form of art. I do give you permission to print out this piece and work with it as this is only a basic sketch and ive stuffed up a lot of the detail as I forgot it would be easier for you with just an outline also the top flower may need re-doing. I hoped I helped.
Q:A. Power LinesB. WaterC. FiresD. Overturns
Dangerous to whom and exactly what does overturns mean? Operators are most likely to be killed when a tower crane breaks (is this an overturn?) because the operator is several hundred feet up in the air in the cab. Hitting power lines can be risky to the operator if dumb but staying in the cab is likely to be safe (stepping out may kill in touching ground) Overturning a ground based crane is going to hurt someone in the area much of the time.
