Q:I keep trying to strip this damned wire but the copper wire inside the tubeing constantly ends up getting split apart instead of staying together. Im pretty sure Im doing it right Ive done it before easily. The wire is very old though could that be the problem?

You need a tool that cuts through the insulation with a pair of half circle dies so that the wire is surrounded by the cutter, but not bruised by it. Of course, you need a different size for each wire gauge. Some also pull the insulation chunk off automatically with a single squeeze. you do no longer cord the amp you cord the subs. seem up the wiring optons on your subs and notice the thank you to drop the ohms. remember you will make greater potential yet your amp will run warmer and wont final as long except carried out properly.

It is incorrectly used for computers unless one is setting it up, since computers are, of course, wireless.

Q:I have this ipod cord in my car to play music off of, and at first it started cutting out. I would move the wire in a specific spot to a position to where it would work. Then eventually it just stopped working all together, so im assuming the wires inside have been damaged. Now as i said before in a specific spot so im pretty positive i know where it is broken at, but ive never actually spliced a wire, or soldered before. This is where i need help. What tools and materials will i need to fix the wire? Also, how would i fix it? Thanks for the help in advance!

The wires in those little patch cords and headphones and stuff are often very fine and hard to splice or solder. You could get you some wire cutters and wire strippers and a soldering iron and some electrical tape or shrink wrap and go at it, but it would probably be just as well to get another cord.

Q:Connecting a Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD to a 2008 Kia Sorento. I have connected the wire harness to the back of the stereo by matching each color. My issue is I have 2 wires left on each side.I have a blue wire on the wire harness, and on the stereo side I have a blue/white wire that says system remote start. Do these 2 need to go together, even though they are different color scheme, yet both are blue?Same thing with the orange wire on the harness, and I have an orange/white on the stereo, do these two need to be connected?Thanks!

The blue wire is a power antenna wire. If your car does not have a power antenna you do not need to connect this wire. If you do have one, the blue/ white wire from the stereo will work if it does not have a solid blue wire. The orange wires should be connected together. That wire dims the display on your stereo at night when you turn on the headlights.

coils of wires always are magnetic (if there flows current trough them). the only use of such a coils besides as a magnet would be to deminish fluctuations, like in the fat piece of long usb cables. Else, its always magnetic

I found this online: The wire is used in a four-legged footrace-- at least I've only ever heard the word tape used for races involving bipeds. That and ribbon. The wire in question is an actual wire, and it's used in the Sport of Kings, horseracing. A tape or ribbon would be too stretchy to instantaneously trip the shutter on the finishing-line camera when it was crossed. A horse has no problem busting through a single strand of wire.

If you have enough wire, just twist it back together and cover the open wiring with electrical tape. If he took out a chunk of wire, just buy some more speaker wire and do t he same thing. The wires should be red and black, just connect the red to the red and the black to the black. It's a really quick and easy fix you can do yourself.
