We are the leading exporters for Coir Geo Textiles. It is 100 % Natural fiber, extracted from coconut husk.

COIR GEOTEXTILES

Coir is a 100% organic fiber, from a renewable source…the coconut husk. Naturally resistant to rot, moulds and moisture, it needs no chemical treatment. Hard and strong, it can be spun and woven into matting. They also have the right strength and durability to protect the slopes from erosion, while allowing vegetation to flourish. They can dissipate the energy of flowing water and absorb the excess solar radiation.

ATTRIBUTES OF GEOTEXTILES:

High Moisture Absorbing Capacity

High Initial Strength

Low Extension at Break

High Roughness co- efficient

High Spinnabillity

Bio – Degradable

Soil Hourisher

Economical

Eco Friendly

APPLICATIONS:

Used to control soil erosion at work -sites, Road construction areas, River banks etc as a protective measure/mesh

Used in controlling even the steepest of slopes from erosion.

Used in new vegetation by absorbing water and preventing top soil from drying out.

What is a Geotextile Fabric?
Geotextiles are simple and permeable sheets of fabric which come in rolls and can be rolled out on the ground when a barrier is needed. These sheets are made of a special fabric that has special characteristics for your landscaping or construction needs. For example, one feature is that they help separate sections of your soil by acting as a barrier between the deeper areas and the surface (where your plants or other project arrangements are located). They can block out unwanted weeds and growth from coming to the surface and still allow drainage of excess water that you don't want in the area. The main benefits of such a fabric are that: i) your plants and landscaping won't suffer from unfair competition posed by weeds and roots, and ii) the area won't become inundated with water. It's like an additional helpful hand for your garden or construction site. Geotextile fabrics can act in this way because they are typically composed of polypropylene or polyester materials.

Q:How do geotextiles affect soil temperature?
Geotextiles can have an impact on soil temperature by acting as an insulating layer. They can help regulate soil temperature by reducing heat transfer between the soil and the atmosphere. This insulation effect can prevent soil from overheating in hot climates or help retain warmth in colder regions. Additionally, geotextiles can also minimize temperature fluctuations in the soil, providing a more stable environment for plant growth.
Q:How do geotextiles help with sediment control in construction sites?
Geotextiles are used in construction sites to help with sediment control by acting as a barrier that traps sediment and prevents it from being washed away by water runoff. These permeable fabrics allow water to pass through while retaining the sediment, reducing erosion and preventing pollution of nearby water bodies.
Q:Polyester filament nonwoven is filament geotextile
Yes, generally do geotextile material, polyester filament nonwoven fabric refers to filament geotextile. Huazhi geotechnical materials manufacturers to answer your questions
Q:Can geotextiles be used in subgrade stabilization?
Yes, geotextiles can be used in subgrade stabilization. Geotextiles are often used as a reinforcement material to improve the strength and stability of subgrade soils. They can help distribute the load from the overlying layers and prevent the mixing of different soil layers, thereby enhancing the overall performance and longevity of the subgrade.
Q:What are the environmental impacts of geotextile production?
The environmental impacts of geotextile production include energy consumption during manufacturing, emissions of greenhouse gases, water and air pollution from chemical processes, and the generation of solid waste. However, compared to traditional construction materials, geotextiles have lower environmental impacts in terms of resource consumption, carbon emissions, and waste generation.
Q:Can geotextiles be used for reinforcement of canal banks?
Yes, geotextiles can be used for reinforcement of canal banks. Geotextiles are commonly employed in civil engineering projects to enhance the stability and strength of soil and structures. In the case of canal banks, geotextiles can be used to control soil erosion, improve drainage, and provide reinforcement against potential slope failures. They are effective in distributing loads, reducing soil movement, and preventing the loss of fine particles, which ultimately helps in maintaining the integrity and stability of canal banks.
Q:What are the composite geomembranes suitable for use? What are the characteristics of it? There are several kinds of composite geotextiles?
Widely used in water conservancy, chemical industry, construction, transportation, subway, tunnel, garbage disposal field and other anti-seepage project, high puncture resistance, large coefficient of anti-aging performance, to adapt to the environmental temperature range Excellent anti-drainage performance Geotextile: A cloth a film two cloth a film a cloth two films more cloth film and so on
Q:Can geotextiles be used in river training works?
Yes, geotextiles can be used in river training works. Geotextiles are often used to stabilize riverbanks, prevent erosion, and control sediment movement in rivers. They can be used to reinforce embankments, create slope stability, and protect riverbeds. Geotextiles are an effective and environmentally friendly solution for managing and controlling the flow of water in river training works.
Q:How do geotextiles affect soil properties?
Geotextiles can have a positive impact on soil properties by improving its stability, filtration, and drainage capabilities. These synthetic fabrics act as a barrier, preventing soil erosion and promoting soil compaction. Additionally, geotextiles can enhance the soil's ability to retain water, aiding in irrigation and reducing the risk of drought.
Q:How do geotextiles improve the performance of retaining walls?
Geotextiles improve the performance of retaining walls by providing reinforcement and stabilization. They act as a barrier between the soil and the retaining wall, preventing soil erosion and reducing water infiltration. Additionally, geotextiles distribute lateral earth pressures more evenly, enhancing the structural integrity and longevity of the retaining wall.
