Is it best to go for a more powerful vacuum cleaner?
The power of a vacuum cleaner’s motor is measured in Watts. The higher the Wattage the better it will clean, as long as the machine is well designed with good air flow and suction power too. - Have you checked the belt, looked for a clog somewhere? You do need to do maintenance on them now and then! You can take it to a vacuum repair shop too. If you really want a good vacuum, go to a vacuum repair shop or a vacuum cleaner dealer store. None of them at the discount stores are worth a darn! Find something with a metal fan blade, instead of plastic, and a commercial model would even be better. It will cost you more initially, but in the long run it will not need to be replaced for years!!! I cleaned houses for 14 yrs. 5 days a week 3-4 houses a day, using the same vacuum cleaner!!!
