Start the vacuum cleaner and that is a whole other story. She will bolt and hide under my doona. Why do cats hate them so much and has anybody ever had or met a cat that doesn't mind vacuum cleaners?

our cats hate them too. I think its because there louder the washing machines and dishwashers. motor bikes are loud but they are kept out side or in a garage not inside. I also think there scared of them because you move them about and they might think you you will hit them with it or suck them up (lol) or something. No need to worry if your that worried about it put them in a different room or put them out side. All cats are the same!! Our cats hate them our white cat runs and stays on the window sill and the other stays on the sofa!!
