Q:I need an ARTICLE on how to lift a car‘s suspension to have up to 50 inch tires. It has to be long enough to summarize with half a page.
Uh huh, 50 tires on WHAT kind of car? Doubt you would ever see that happen unless you drop the body on a truck frame. Trying to waste time are we?
Q:if you dont know what you're talking about please don't answer
lift is usually on the back...as air goes over it creates vacuum lifting back end...[spoiler provides down force]...on front air gets under causing it to want to fly...[counter acted by air dam]
Q:I‘ve heard of this a few times, and once was in a small town near where I live. A cop was going to work and made a different route to work this one day and found a woman pinned under her car. She had tried to get out of her car but the car had rolled and caught her under it. This was in the local paper. The cop didn‘t use the car jack to do the lift but just lifted the car enough to get her away from it. It was like a quick impulse thing, it seems where a person wants to hurry and help someone and they just somehow are able to do a supernatural thing. Only God could have allowed this to happen like this --- don‘t you think?
No, I don't. There could be a number of factors involved. For example an adrenaline rush could significantly increase a person's strength, and if the car was positioned in such a way that its weight was not completely centred over the side under which the person was trapped it may not have taken that much strength to rock it enough for the trapped person to escape.
Q:i want to lift my car up a little bit higher from the back because I put some new tyre on but they keep hitting the gaud
You need a suspension lift, a custom shop should be able to give you some idea of what it will cost.
Q:I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 4x4. I am planing on lifting it up about 4 or 5. I would also like to know what are some good tires for the lift, but I would like to keep the same rimes. So it has to be 15. For anyone who has a lifted car how does the MPG change with the lift?
I literaly sat here for 20 minutes thinking about this
Q:I have an old car that is being stored at a public storage. They apparently needed to move it but couldn't get ahold of me. They used a fork lift, picked it up and moved it three misely parking spots over. I got the message that they needed it moved after they had already moved it. Is there any chance that damage could have been done? The car stilled started when I got out there the next day, but what are the chances they might of tweaked the frame or crunched some exhaust or something? Should I take it somewhere to get it checked out? Could I make the storage place pay for making sure it isn't damaged?
You should just be able to verify any physical damage just by looking. Warping something like the frame isn't likely. If everything looks OK and there are no leaks then there shouldn't be any damage.
Q:i drive an ‘01 volvo s60.I bought the battery and tried to replace it but then I got stuck. As far as I know, it‘s not hard at all to replace a battery. unscrew the clamp on top that holds the battery down. Unplug negative side first then the positive side. Then unplug the ventilation hose that goes into my battery. Then the battery should come out. Well, the battery isn‘t budging. When i lift as hard as i can, the car lifts with it. Does anyone know what I am suppose to do? I don‘t want to take it to volvo and pay $150 just to change a battery.
There is a bracket on the side of the battery that has to be removed too. It is held in with a couple screws I believe but it has been a while since I changed a battery in one of those cars. It took me a little while to figure it out my first time too. The bracket is low on the battery too and does not look like it holds it there but it does. It keeps the battery locked in position by keeping it from sliding sideways. Hope I have been helpful.
Q:I have no idea what any of this means and my friends are trying to find an answer i cant find and they know i know nothing about cars any one willing to help Thanks

Q:My car trunk lift supports barely keep the trunk up. I know they are filled with a gas or fluid. Is it possible they can be filled up to give them more strength? Who can do this? I hope I will not have to buy two new ones.
