Q: Hello guys. I'd like to know how to dial Chinese mobile phone while being in China. Would you help me. Thanks!
Yeh I had this problem before to some one form turkey texted me at christmas and it cost me $1.50 to reply I didn't realise till it was too late. But I think its some one that's just got the wrong number and curious lol just put a bar on incoming foriegn calls Good luck :)
Q: I had shortlisted the Sony Ericsson T700 and G502 as the choices for my first mobile phone. I am pretty convenient at using mobile phones (as all my relatives have one) so using them is not a problem. My first pref is the T700 but as it is costlier and mostly has the same features as the cheaper G502 (except camera mp, menu layout and more RSS functions), I am thinking of going for the G502. However, I have read that the G502's build quality is poor and it hangs and restarts and similar sort of things. Also some people say that the colour starts coming off after a few months. Is that a cause for worry?I know that firmware needs to be updated regularly so, if I maintain it well, are there chances of problems creeping up? I would also like to know from G502 users if they liked it or if they had some specific problems with it? In the end, should I wait for the T700's price to drop or should I go for the G502?Thanx for reading.
I've had one for about a couple of months now and had no problems with it. I was just after a low cost phone that would allow me to check emails, get weather reports, connect to messenger, etc. The screen is a little small but I can read my mail using Google's excellent mobile mail app. I haven't tried to write an email with it yet. Build quality is good and I haven't had any problems with it hanging, although a couple of websites that I was viewing with the built in browser have caused it to restart. Can't comment on the paint coming off yet. I think the screen would be easily scratched so I try to avoid putting it in the same pocket as keys, coins, etc. and I'm looking for some sort of cover to protect it. Overall, it does the job for me and I've been pleased with it in the first couple of months I've had it. Best regards,

Q: Hi, I have an old t-mobile phone. The 2 year contract expired probably 5 years ago. Now I want to get a new phone and also want to move to pageplus. I am wondering how should I do it?Should I get a CDMA phone, then stick my SIM card from my old t-mobile phone to this new phone, then call pageplus to port the number to my new phone? How exactly does it work? Thanks.
T-Mobile phones are not compatable with Page Plus. Page Plus uses Verizon phones. Page Plus does not use sim card with their phones. You will need to buy a Verizon phone that works with Page Plus. Then you will have to call/contact Page Plus and have them Port your phone number with T-Mobile to Page Plus. You may want to contact Page Plus and see if they will port a phone number from T-Mobile, before you buy a phone.
Q: Hey guys. Dad is buying me a new mobile phone, and it must be a Nokia, that is 3G (more specifically capable on running on 3 Mobile Australia) and not overly expensive (OKorder pricing, probably a lot more in retailers). No real preferences at the moment, but I have seen Nokia 6120 / 6121 Classic, Nokia 6500 Slide.Thank you for your help!
Nokia Lumia Series is awesome for 3G. Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 925
Q: Can they do that while the mobile is off? How's that anyway?
Yes, that's correct, and it also works when the mobile is off. When it's off, your mobile can still receive messages for your combox.
Q: Assalamu alaikom sweet friends :-)i want to know if the use of mobile phones in Egypt differ from its use worldwide ??Do you think that we use it differently ?on a Social level, do you find that it caused a considerable change in the way people communicate.and is it positive or negative ??and please state, from your viewpoint, some advantages and disadvantages for its use .thaaaaaaaaanks in advance :-)
Weeeeell, yeah, we're a bit undertechnological as I've almost never actually seen a cellphone used in Egypt to make videocalls even though the service is available. Most Egyptians don't use their cellphones to browse the web even though most of the people in the west do. Of course, it's caused a considerable a change. A huge change Positive and negative. Positive because you actually get the chance to communicate freely with whoever you want, there are no location restrictions (because it's not connected to any wall or something) and you could call them instantly. Negative because, as you can contact them instantly, you can disrupt their private lives and steal their privacy completely.
Q: I want to create a new Yahoo account. After I complete the page with all of my basic info (name, birthday, etc.), it takes me to a page where I can create my security questions and include a mobile phone number. I do not have a mobile phone. When I hit done, a message stating this information is required appears next to the mobile phone box, and I cannot complete registration without it. I have tried linking to an alternate email in the previous step but it still happens. What can I do?
I don't use a mobile phone at all. This is why I've lost 2-3 accounts because of Yahoo's gimmick to boost mobile phone users and it's unfair to me.
Q: I would like to get my mom a prepaid cell phone for emergencies. I have an old Boost mobile phone, does anyone know if that cab be re-activated? Or, should I just get a new phone from somebody else?
Yes you can reactivate your old Boost Mobile phone. However when you call Boost Customer Care they will ask for your sim card number and phone model number. There will be a extra $10 activation fee to reinstate service since the phone and sim card has previously been activated and cancel. Just let them know that you are giving this cell to your mother. You need to purchase a Boost Re-fill card at any retail store before you re-activate with Boost Mobile again.
