Q: i wanted to purchase a tmobile phone that has what i want:-doing alot on wifi (calls, internet, etc.)-has a music player (prefferably with micro sd slot)-wide range app store-fast, not laggy, easy, navigation and interface-screen size like the size of an iphone, maybe 3??optional; double sided camerathanks for the help! :)
All T-Mobile phones are ridiculously slow and lag, not to be negative lol just honest. There isn't one phone I would recommend on the T-Mobile network as a very displeased T-Mobile costumer who has gone through MANY phones. I would recommend a Samsung Galaxy s3 on Sprint, or an iPhone 4s on Verizon as your best options.
Q: I have a cingular service,my phone broke.I wanna use spare t-mobile phone with cingular SIM card in it.Is there anyway that i can unlock the phone thanks in advance
It's surprising how virtually everyone except maybe 2 or 3 are wrong here. The correct answer is YES, BUT you will have to get the phone unlocked. You have two routes you can take: Route 1 - Stage 1 - Call T-Mobile and request the unlock code for the device. You will need to provide some basic account information, as well as basic information about the phone (which they will walk you through getting). Stage 2 - Wait for T-Mobile to get back to you with the code, and they will also provide directions on how to input the code. Route 2 - Find a vendor online who will unlock your specific device via IMEI or cable. If the IMEI solution is available, you can simply provide the phone's IMEI, which is used to unlock the device. If a cable solution is necessary, you will have to acquire a data cable and unlock this way. The majority of the time you will use the IMEI solution (very seldom does a cable solution become necessary) This should answer your question.
Q: i tried using 1800-reverse on my mobile hone today because i had no credit and it didn't work, when i got home i tried on my LAN-phone and it worked. i live in south Australia, is there a different number for mobiles?
it depends on how responsible the child is. If they are forgetful or irresponsible than no way. It is a good thing to keep tabs on them at all times though but keep in mind they won't answer it half of the time! It depends if they are responsible enough not to raise the minutes through the roff or constantly text other kids!! I made a huge mistake with my step-son at 15!!!! get a pre-pay phone!!!! If he runs out of minutes then oh well wait until you get more!! My bill was through the roof!!!!
Q: how is mobile phone modelled
The mobile phone is a radio transciever just like a walkie talkie. The only difference is that it is duplexed (meaining you don't have to push a button to talk) it is using a reserved fequency and is communicating (for the most part) digitally with data packets instead of a broadcast analog signal. When you place a call, your phone sends a signal to the tower asking for permission to connect to the cellular network. The tower assigns your phone (if you are a subscriber in its database, that is) a frequency and time slot to send it's data packets on. The time slots rotate very fast; many times per second. And as you talk, your phone records what you say, turns it into a digital data packet and when the time slot is right, it fires the packet to the cell tower. The cell tower then sends the data packet down a T1 line or over a microwave link to a switch which then sends the data packet to another cell tower and to the person on the other mobile phone. The other person's mobile phone receives the data packet and plays the data back as an audio sound. Needless to say that all this is happening so fast that we are usually inable to detect it with our ears. But on occasion when you get in a place with bad coverage and your connection sounds choppy, what you are hearing are data packets that have gotten lost somehow. I hope that is not too technical. I tried to keep it in layman's language.
Q: I would like to purchase a mobile phone with sim card from the states and send it to my fiance in Nigeria? I already did it and it took forever for it to be delivered, but he did get it. But he is unable to use it cuz of the american sim. He wasnt even able to put his existing sim into it to make it work. I want to actually buy a phone online and have it sent directly to Nigeria. Is this possible? I just want to make sure it will work and make sure he gets it faster than the last time. I tried to find a phone online that works with his phone provider which is called Zain Nigeria and I have had no such luck. Please can someone help me. thank you very much
The simple answer is, you can't. Most US phones do not work in Africa and vice versa because they use different operating systems. Mobile phones are ridiculously cheap in Nigeria - on the street you can buy many different models for under $10. Everyone in Nigeria has a mobile phone, even poor people, because they are so cheap.
Q: does T-Mobile offer unlock for every phone?? expensive??
Most phones. Cost about 20 bucks
Q: AirTyme GTX75 TORRID mobile phone has WAP 2.0 broser, I want to install opera mini to the mobile,, is it possible?
in simple terms get carry of the jar record. move it to you cellular which i guess you'll have already executed. pass to that particular record contained in the cellular. then pick it. contained in the options menu you'll see an set up concepts. (that is available on condition that your L6 is properly matched with Java softwares).
Q: Can i use any T-Mobile phone on their website with a prepaid plan??? i would like to switch to a cheap, good cell service that has nice phones, but im puzzled. prepaid seems to be the best way, now i just have to decide which mobile phone company prepaid is the best. there is verizon, t-mobile, alltell, sprint/virgin mobile. alltell isnt in my area. sprint/virgin mobile work horrible in my area. so its then down to verizon and t-mobile. verizon prepaid is very expensive, so then im left with t-mobile. SO. Can i use ANY t-mobile phone on their website with a pre-paid plan??? THANKS !!!!
no i think there is a select few such as samsung tgh 2619 samsung blast [like chocolate] sidekick II (135.00) nokia open faced phone their is a samsung phone that is like slvr with a camera for about 40-50 dollars + more minutes $25 - 130 mins $50- 400 mins $100 - 1000 mins each txt message is 1 minute all your muintes rollover it is ur best bet for prepaid phones!1
Q: Phone did not sound how to get?
There is a mute button on the left side of the front of the phone to control the current ringtone. When you find the phone does not prompt the sound, please first check whether the mute function is turned on.
Q: I would like to get my mom a prepaid cell phone for emergencies. I have an old Boost mobile phone, does anyone know if that cab be re-activated? Or, should I just get a new phone from somebody else?
I'm pretty sure that you can re-activate it. However, you may likely have to bring it to a Boost Mobile outlet to have it re-flashed. This would load all the necessary settings onto the phone's flash memory to make work. The newer Boost Mobile phones actually use SIM cards, making the activation process easier. All the setting are stored on the chip of the SIM rather than the phone's hardware, similar to GSM phones.
