Q: I have a cingular service,my phone broke.I wanna use spare t-mobile phone with cingular SIM card in it.Is there anyway that i can unlock the phone thanks in advance
It's surprising how virtually everyone except maybe 2 or 3 are wrong here. The correct answer is YES, BUT you will have to get the phone unlocked. You have two routes you can take: Route 1 - Stage 1 - Call T-Mobile and request the unlock code for the device. You will need to provide some basic account information, as well as basic information about the phone (which they will walk you through getting). Stage 2 - Wait for T-Mobile to get back to you with the code, and they will also provide directions on how to input the code. Route 2 - Find a vendor online who will unlock your specific device via IMEI or cable. If the IMEI solution is available, you can simply provide the phone's IMEI, which is used to unlock the device. If a cable solution is necessary, you will have to acquire a data cable and unlock this way. The majority of the time you will use the IMEI solution (very seldom does a cable solution become necessary) This should answer your question.
Q: I HAVE A 3G ZTE BOOST MOBILE PHONE AN I WANT ANOTHER ONE
Nope there is no trade. You would have to purchase another boost mobile phone if you want another phone. You can always sell your cell phone on craigslist website and use that money for another cell phone.
Q: I have an already used t-mobile sidekick. Someone recently just bought me a SIM card that was not activated or anything. I was just wondering. 1. Is that type of SIM card able to be set up as a prepaid plan? 2. How do I go about getting the SIM card activated for a prepaid plan? 3.Will they let me use the old sidekick that I already have? 4. About how much do you think this will cost? (I want the dollar a day plan where you only pay the days you use the phone)Also, if theres anything else I need to know, please let me know :] thanks so mucch
Yes you can activate your old sidekick with T-Mobile. You would need to bring your old cell phone and activate that sim card as a prepaid. I recommend bringing that sim card and your cell phone to a nearby T-Mobile store and they will activate that sim card for you on the sidekick prepaid plan. The sidekick plan will cost you a $1.00 a day which includes unlimited text, internet, email and instant messaging. However if you receive calls or make calls it will cost you 15 cents a minute. So if you add up the fees it will cost you $30 or more per month for this plan.
Q: I have a T-Mobile phone and I was wondering if I could trade it in for free at the T-Mobile place
Depends on the phone you want versus the phones they offer for free at trade in. If you are upgrading after 2 years on your contract, then certain but usually low-end phones can be upgraded to for free. That stuff you hear about upgrading to, like a galaxy 4 at no extra cost because T-Mobile has the best upgrade plan, is basically them saying you can have this phone for so and so a month. In the end you are leasing a phone like that. Not getting it free.
Q: I am looking for some info regarding the mobile phone margins etc. for starting a new business and also the right persons to contact in Delhi/NCR.Can anyone please give some info or relevant links
Mobile phone shops in the USA are operating on 6% profit margins. That is workable because they don't have to keep too much inventory and the staffing may be only 2 customer-service people. It helps if you do your own bookkeeping and don't pay someone else to do it.
Q: Basically I've had my current mobile for a good few years now and I've been saving up for a new one. I'm not too bothered about networks but I think I'm looking for a contract phone. There's obviously the choice between a blackberry and an iphone, but I have no idea what's a good deal and what's not? And also any other types of android mobiles which are really good? I prefer qwerty keyboards but if anyone can suggest a good touchscreen one that would be good too. I'd like to have internet access and app downloads, but I don't want to be spending something crazy like ?35 per month aha. Please help I'm completely lost with all these deals and mobile phones :)

Q: i dont want to resign for 2 years with nextel, but i need a new phone. if i buy a boost mobile phone ( looking at the i9 Stature) will i just be able to put in my nextel sim and it work? I have heard it will but it needs to be unlocked first, what does that mean?
sprint won't be in a position to take SIM taking area in enjoying cards, and the Nextel ingredient would not definitely use GSM service (they use some element comparable stated as iDEN) that's what your sim card is desperate up for. regrettably the quickly answer is 'NO' even with the essential actuality that the nextel telephone has the SIM card slot, it somewhat is honestly incompatable technologies. My apologies. want this helps!
Q: Hi all,I've been looking on Amazon at the Samsung Galaxy S phone the description is ' Samsung I9000 Galaxy S Sim Free Mobile Phone 'I was thinking of buying this phone but I'm a bit unsure if it would work once I got it.Question 1: What exactly does Sim-Free mean? I thought initially it was that the phone was open to any network not locked but after reading some posts I am still a bit unsure.Question 2: How can I tell if this phone is locked or unlocked, I live in Spain so it would go on to a spanish network. When I came to Spain with my unlocked phone I just changed the sim card to a Spanish one and it worked. So really I'm just wanting to know if I buy it that I can just put my sim-card in and it will work. Thanks
Martin Cooper is the inventor of the cellular telephone. Dr. Cooper is the CEO and founding father of ArrayComm, a agency that works on sensible antenna technologies and convalescing on the spot networks.
Q: I just bought a virgin mobile phone.LoVeD it! But on the top of the phone where the icons are there is a GPS icon(checked in the user guide). In the guide it said it means that the location service of my phone is disabled/enabled. What does that mean??
if the Icon is on the screen GPS is enabled it just means that for instance if you lose your phone or get lost kidnapped (whatever) they can track you down as long as the phone is turned on.GPS means Global Positioning System.they also rec commend you have it enabled/on so if you call 911 they can get your general location.no harm in it i usually leave mine on its just kind of a safeguard i suppose
