- Q: Big god speed to ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ much needed
- According to the total amount of household electricity to calculate the main line with how much, if the maximum load of more than 7 kilowatts, with 6 square BV or BVR line, no more than 4 square, branch kitchen socket with 2.. light line with .05-1.5 are Yes, air conditioning hang up 2.5 enough, Guiji take green 4 square
- Q: I'm building another computer to give to someone, i have all the parts and when it got down to installing the CD drive and the Hard drive i plugged the sata cables into the motherboard but when i looked to install them to the power supply mine did not have any of those cables. I had spare cables from my other power supply but they require you to plug them into the power supply but since the other power supply is older it doesn't work. I was wondering if i could get cables that plug into the extra connectors then to the CD drive/ Hard drive instead of plugging them into the power supply then the CD drive/ Hard drive.
- There's 2 types of power connectors, old style 4-pin Molex and Sata power. Adapters are pretty cheap, just check Monoprice.
- Q: I purchased a LCD TV the other day and ran a cable line to it (via crawl space). I had to use a splitter to connect the new TV. I connected the cable directly to the TV and then the power cable to the outlet which “popped” and the power went out (breaker trips). I connect the TV power cable to a surge protector and the power goes out again (surge protector wasn’t even on). So I disconnect the cable from the tv and connect the power. Everything is fine until I try and connect the cable...let’s just say the spark was bright and hot enough to melt part of the connector on the TV! So I return the TV and get a different brand and the same thing happens when I plug it into a surge protector. To begin narrowing out possible problems I connect the cable to a regular 10 year old TV with no problems. It is a brand new cable with no cuts or fraying. Any suggestions?
- Something is seriously wrong, and you may need to get an electrician on the problem. You need to check the voltage between your set and the cable with a meter. There should be little or no measurable voltage. If you are getting a reading like 115 volts, then I suspect that the wall outlet into which your TV is plugged has been wired backwards, i.e. the black wire is on the white terminal, and vice-versa. The cable is (or should be) grounded where it comes into the house, but if the outlet has the hot wire on the wrong side, this might cause the problem you described. The wrong connection could have occurred anywhere along the line between your main panel and the outlet, so this may involve checking the connections at several outlets and light fixtures - whatever is on the same circuit as your TV's outlet.
- Q: I noticed many of our server cables are thicker than the standard ones for a desktop PC. Would any power cable work, regardless of gauge? I want to use shorter server power cables for cable management purposes, since some of our server cables are over 10-15 ft. in length and only need 3 ft. or so.
- It depends on the gauge of the wire. It will be printed on the cable such as 18 AWG 3C Which means each wire is 18 gauge in size and there are 3 wires or conductors (3C). The higher the number on the gauge the smaller the wire. For instance a 12 gauge is much bigger wire than an 16 or 18 gauge. That means the lower the number the more current it can handle. The better companies such as HP will also use cable that is shielded more to prevent interference to outside devices. It's best to go with the same gauge or larger (lower number). The longer the cable the bigger (lower number) the wire is needed. For instance a power saw would use a 12 gauge wire and a table lamp would use a 16 gauge wire. If the table saw is at a construction site and it is plugged in at the other end of the house it would need a 10 gauge extension cord because of the distance.
- Q: HiI'm organizing my cords at the moment, but I'm curious, is it safe to use power cords (say a phone charger) when it is still wound up in a coil? It would save a lot of cord clutter, but are there any drawbacks, as in it would start a fire? Thanks
- there is no danger coiling cords.dont fold the cord or you could break the wire
- Q: The other day I found an imac g5 17computer in my alley. It probably doesn't work but I was just curious about what cables/accessories I need for it. All that was out there was the actual monitor/desktop. There were no cables with it. (By the way if you can't tell I am not experienced with computers)Thanks any info is appreciated!
- Power cable, USB keyboard, USB mouse. That's it. Find a power cable (any old computer power cable will work) and see if it even powers on and does anything first. Crack it open. Set it on its face, then undo the three screws across the bottom. They do NOT come out. They only loosen up until you can't turn them anymore. The back pops off. Look for any swollen or leaking capacitors. If you find any, then it's junk. If you don't, then see if there's any RAM in it. If not, toss some PC3200 DDR RAM in there and see if you get anything.
- Q: While DISCONNECTED from the amp, I accidentally touched the power cable with the ground cable. Sparks went flying and I smelt a funny odor. Since then, when I go to turn on my radio, my amp only lights up for a second and then looses power. Unfortunately, I feel I've fried my ground wire (upon close inspection, the power/battery cables fuse is still good along with amp signal wire and RCA's) My question is simply this: When replacing my ground wire, can I use left over power/battery cable? I have about 3 feet left over from the install. Thank you for your help!!
- yes cable is cable just make sure u remember that that one is ground.so u don't mix them up.
- Q: Does throwing punches with weighted cables increase punching power?
- Not necessarily because punching power is basically genetic or in-born. It will help for sure but it's not an assurance of you acquiring instant knockout power.
- Q: for any SATA 2 HDD, the power connector is longer. compared to the data transfer cable. wht is it so?,-------------- ,------the first set of lines represent the power connector second; the data connection cable.
- The sata power connector provides 3.3, 5v and 12v as well as two ground connections (in between the 3.3 and 5 and 5 and 12) I believe. Anyway, for the power connectors, a single pin has a maximum rating of 1.5A or so, and so they provide three pins if a device needs needs more current.
- Q: How to choose the type of street lamp cable specifications, anxious
- Horizontal laying of the cable within the cable, generally do not need fixed, natural laying can be. Vertical laying section of the cable within the bridge, with the need to match the line card, the use of tied rope (multi-purpose single insulated wire) one by one fixed cable, fixed spacing should meet the requirements. According to the control cable and the power of the different layers of laying, if the power cable to be multi-layer need to have 300mm spacing (or load capacity is large enough), if it is control cable, casually laying, if the laying of power cable laying below Layer, above the laying of control cable, but not too much affect the power cable cooling. If the high-voltage cable and low-voltage cable in principle do not allow common laying.
