- Q:What is the standard for strengthening the implementation of the national standard for glass fiberboard?
- There is no national standard, the general implementation of the enterprise standards.
- Q:Would a house built of glass bricks be a good idea?
- your privacy would be in risk =D Further more, it would be hard to get the energy cables inside the walls, fix stuff to the walls and it could be a real danger because of the shards. About the energy efficiency... it would be a bit bad as in summer it would overheat. At winter would be better, because of the greenhouse effect but maybe it has less thermoisolation than concrete, turning it less efficient. xD It's really hard to tell, but if you could control the opacity of the glass, it would definetly be better.
- Q:what is an ideal roof for a steel framed building with glass cladding?
- The glass cladding choice has nothing to do with the kind of roof chosen for a steel framed building. I am assuming that when you use the term "cladding" it has a specific meaning to architects and engineers. It does not mean that the roof has glass skylights. Cladding is the siding along the vertical face of the building. The roof materials and framing system chosen has absolutely no bearing on the the cladding system chosen.
- Q:how many 2009 glass top ford mustangs were built ?
- well ford has only decided to build 45,000 2009 Ford Mustangs this year because it has already sold over 44 thousand cars in a 5 month period. The glass top is an optional trim on the vehicle that you can convert your convertible to glass top for $1,995. hope that helps
- Q:why don't we build with glass, steel, timber and stone?
- I'm a bit puzzled by your question since all the materials you metnioned are common building materials. I built a home in the Guadalupe mountains that was practically all glass on the outside walls and the frame was all heavy natural pine timbers joined entirely with wood joinery - no iron or steel in the frame at all. I also built a mountain home in Missouri all out of natural stone collected entirely from the home owners own land. His wife was afraid of lightning so I used steel pre-fabricated trusses in the roof, covered with steel corrugated panels (all heavily grounded of course) and gave the home a 360 overhang porch. It was a beautiful home.
- Q:What kind of glass is the glass?
- Safety glass is compared with ordinary glass, with high mechanical strength, impact resistance of the glass. Its main varieties are tempered glass, laminated glass, laminated glass and titaniumized glass. Safety glass is crushed, the debris will not hurt, and both anti-theft, fire function. According to the production of glass used in the original film does not, safety glass has a certain decorative effect.
- Q:What brand of silicone should you use to build a glass nano aquarium?
- What the heck is "nano"? Any pure silicone. Let set for 24 hours to cure. Preferably 1 week with water changes before fish can go in.
- Q:How do you add windows or doors to a small stained glass building?
- Traditionally, you're supposed to pick or create a design that won't have you trying to have pieces floating in the middle of another piece because it is difficult to cut a hole in the middle of a piece of glass, as you may have discovered. I have cut round holes in glass but it was regular window glass, not stained glass which can be a little trickier to cut. If you want to try cutting a round hole and then grind or chip it into a square shape, go ahead and try but be prepared for lots of spoiled pieces. Something else you could try, though, is a fairly new thing--glass paint which can be found at many craft stores or art supply shops. Pebeo is a popular brand. It can be painted on and left, which should work if the piece will always be indoors and you don't scrub it to clean it. There is a version of the same paint which can be painted on and then baked in a regular oven, and it's supposed to be dishwasher proof so should stay on very well. I have used some of this paint and it seems to do what they say it will, I'm still testing it for wear and don't have a dishwasher so can't really road test it. Painting on glass, such as you see in church windows, used to be quite impractical for the average glass artist since it needed a kiln in which to fire it on to the glass.
- Q:what would be the best lens to use photographing a very modern building with lots of glasses and steel?
- Fundamental considerations which influence the answer to your question: How tall is the building? What is the building's footprint shape? What is the nature of its setting? (urban, rural, hemmed in by other buildings?) How far away can you get? Can you achieve a viewpoint above ground level? Do you want the whole building, details, or both? Exterior, interior, or both? Much more information required.
