Making Process:

1. Get images from digital camera, memory card or scanner.

2. Print image with heat transfer paper and sublimation ink.

3. Lay down a teflon sheet and your panel, and another CLEAN teflon sheet on top, pre-press for 60 sec., 180, 0.3Mpa.

4. 60 seconds later. Wait the panel to cool.

5. Tape the transfer to the face of the substrate with heat resistent tape running parallel to the edge of the substrate.

6. Lay substrate face up, transfer on top on a piece of telfon sheet on lower platen.

7. Cover with one layer of fabric, preferably 100% polyester or poly-silk, to distribute pressure and reduce stress on the coating.

8. Press for the prescribed time is 130sec., temperature is 180 and pressure is 0.3Mpa.

9. When finished, remove the fabric and gently peel the taped transfer off the substrate without allowing it to slide or move.

10. Let the substrate to cool. Do not handle it until cool to reduce the chances of damaging the coating on the edges.

11. Enjoy your personal designed aluminum board!

Q:Wonderland is the hard aluminum with what tools do? Thank you
Wrought iron platform made 3 aluminum alloy with a hard aluminumAluminum + granite can also be synthesized
Q:why does the bubble apear a few minutes later after putting aluminum sheet into dilute sulphuric acid?
it firstly etches off the oxide on the surface of aluminum, and then reacts with aluminum, generating bubble.
Q:Can aluminum sheets be used in cryogenic applications?
Cryogenic applications can indeed utilize aluminum sheets. The thermal conductivity and low temperature characteristics of aluminum render it an appropriate substance for cryogenic settings. It can endure exceedingly low temperatures without succumbing to brittleness or compromising its structural integrity. Furthermore, aluminum is both lightweight and resistant to corrosion, rendering it a pragmatic selection for cryogenic applications where weight and durability are crucial considerations. Nevertheless, it is imperative to ascertain that the precise aluminum alloy selected is compatible with the intended cryogenic application, as different alloys may exhibit differing properties and performance levels at lower temperatures.
Q:What are the different methods for perforating aluminum sheets?
Aluminum sheets can be perforated using a variety of methods, each with its own advantages and applications. The most common methods include: 1. Punching: Traditional and cost-effective, punching involves using a punch and die set to create holes in the aluminum. This method is efficient for simple hole patterns and is commonly used in the automotive and construction industries. 2. Laser cutting: Precise and versatile, laser cutting uses a high-powered laser beam to vaporize or melt the metal, creating intricate and complex hole patterns. It is highly accurate and fast, suitable for decorative and functional perforations. 3. Waterjet cutting: Another popular method, waterjet cutting uses a jet of high-pressure water mixed with abrasive materials to erode the metal and create holes. It is known for its ability to cut through thick aluminum sheets and produce clean edges. Commonly used in aerospace and architecture. 4. Rotary perforating: This method involves using a rotating cylindrical tool with sharp blades or teeth to perforate the aluminum. It is ideal for continuous perforations or patterns with curved or irregular hole shapes. Commonly used in filtration systems and acoustic panels. 5. Pressing: Also known as embossing or stamping, pressing involves pressing a patterned die into the aluminum to create raised or sunken areas. These areas can act as perforations, providing aesthetic appeal or functional applications. Hydraulic or mechanical presses are used, commonly in architecture and interior design. It's important to consider factors such as desired hole pattern, material thickness, production volume, and budget when choosing a perforation method. Consulting with a perforation specialist can help determine the most suitable method for a specific application.
Q:Can aluminum sheets be used for electrical wiring?
Electrical wiring cannot utilize aluminum sheets. Although aluminum boasts good conductivity, its high electrical resistance renders it unsuitable for such purposes. Copper, on the other hand, is the preferred material for electrical wiring due to its low resistance and superior efficiency in conducting electricity. Moreover, aluminum is susceptible to oxidation, which may result in inadequate conductivity and potential fire risks. Copper wires, on the contrary, are meticulously crafted and produced to comply with electrical safety standards, guaranteeing dependable and secure electrical connections.
Q:Are aluminum sheets suitable for electronic enclosures?
Yes, aluminum sheets are suitable for electronic enclosures. Aluminum is widely used in the manufacturing of electronic enclosures due to its excellent properties. It is lightweight, yet strong and durable, making it ideal for protecting electronic components. Aluminum also has good thermal conductivity, which helps dissipate heat generated by electronic devices. Additionally, it is non-magnetic and non-sparking, providing safety and preventing interference with electronic signals. Furthermore, aluminum can be easily formed, machined, and finished, allowing for customization and aesthetic appeal. Overall, aluminum sheets offer a reliable and cost-effective solution for electronic enclosures.
Q:What is the typical torsional strength of aluminum sheets?
The torsional strength of aluminum sheets can vary depending on factors such as alloy composition, thickness, and manufacturing process. However, aluminum sheets generally have good torsional strength compared to other materials. Commonly used aluminum alloys in sheet form, like 6061-T6 and 5052-H32, have torsional strengths ranging from approximately 22,000 to 40,000 psi. These values indicate the maximum torque the aluminum sheet can withstand before permanent deformation or fracturing. Torsional strength is just one aspect of aluminum sheet's overall mechanical properties. Tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation are other important factors in determining the suitability of aluminum sheets for specific applications. When choosing aluminum sheets for a torsional application, it is crucial to consider specific requirements and consult with material suppliers or engineers to ensure the selected aluminum sheet meets the desired torsional strength criteria.
Q:What is the density of the 1100 aluminum plate?
1100 aluminum density is fand 2.7g/cm.1100 for industrial pure aluminum, aluminum content (mass fraction) of 99%, can not be enhanced by heat treatment. With high corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, and its small density, good plasticity, through pressure processing can produce all kinds of aluminum, but the strength is low.
Q:Do 101 aluminum sheets require any special maintenance or care?
No, 101 aluminum sheets do not require any special maintenance or care. They are known for their durability and resistance to corrosion, making them relatively low-maintenance materials.
Q:i heard that aluminum causes Alzheimers and i was wondering if there is any aluminum in tin.
Tin is an element, so there isn't anything else in tin. However, tin, the element, isn't really used for much as *just* tin. Tin foil is really a mixture of tin and aluminimum, tin cans aren't pure tin. As elements go, tin is pretty rare. As for the Alzheimers, they don't really know what the correlation is; but they have found large accumulations of metals, not only aluminum, but it doesn't show that causes it. The expression ad hoc, ergo, procter hoc means, before, therefore it caused it. What I mean here is that just because they have found accumulations of aluminum in the brains of Alzheimer's, it doesn't mean it caused it any more than the fact that I did laundry this morning, caused me to spill my coffee on my husband. (both true). Just becasue they happened in that order doesn't mean A caused B. It could mean that whatever causes alzheimers could also mean that the brains of people suspectible to it have a greater ability to accumulate metals crossing the blood-brain barrier. We just don't know enough. I get porcelian caps on my teeth because they thought silver amalgam fillings was causing dementia. Hope I helped~
