Q:I have seen man people incubating bearded dragon eggs, but I am unsure as to wether or not to cover the container of vermiculite they will be sitting in. Also, when the babies first hatch I know they are suposed to be left in the incubator for a day or two, but what precautions have to be taken in order to ensure the babies are safe?
It sounds as if you've been a victim of complacency and a self-centered mechanic. There is no reason what-so-ever why a good, honest mechanic would let you drive away with your wobble. This kinda stuff drives me crazy because its mechanics that don't care that give the good, honest ones a bad name as well as themselves. All of the good, honest ones that i know of (including myself) would not you leave with the same problem you arrived with. My advise to you is contact a good friend or loved one whom knows a mechanic of this stature and remain loyal to him. Be forward and direct, dont be afraid to question. it is your life in the seat and your money in your pocket.
Q:i was mixed up vermiculite with water in a bowl for gardening purposes now i find out that vermiculite might have abestos in it? should i throw the bowl out or would a good clean save the bowl?

Q:What can vermiculite do?
Vermiculite product is vermiculite ore through high temperature extruded articles, with loose and light weight, is a kind of building insulation materials, flower cultivation used mainly using its loose and reduce the pot soil weight, for a long time will crush doesn't work, it is necessary to replace the.
Q:i got him in december but for the past two days he hasnt been opening his eyes and he is alive. he moves around and stuff.
Schedule an immediate veterinary appointment, as this indicates an issue that should be treated. Soil mixes (without perlite or vermiculite or additives) are fine for water dragon enclosures, since water dragons love to dig burrows, but they can get messy. Your dragon should have a water pan large enough for it to submerse itself in, but easy for it to get in and out of. They can splash a lot and make a mess. I don't recommend slate for water dragons--they should have either a thick layer of newspaper, or a finer particulate bedding like coconut husk or soil, because they tend to throw themselves violently off their basking perch when disturbed. When kept in proper conditions, water dragons are generally hardy, but they do need yearly veterinary care to check for parasites, and may be prone to the occasional infection or other minor issue. If it is a simple eye infection, prognosis is quite good, so long as treatment isn't delayed. Naturally, clean the water pan daily, and change the bedding weekly, to avoid bacteria, mold, and mildew which can lead to infections.
Q:Someone on here said I shouldn't but didn't state why.Does it float? Or some other reason?
Leopard geckos usually lay 2 eggs per clutch........there has never been a documented clutch of 3 eggs. It is very common for first time mothers to lay a single egg clutch for their first time. Yes, it is perfectly safe to use a sharpie to indicate the top of the egg to prevent the egg from tipping over and causing the embryo to drown. sell or keep? ....that sounds like a personal choice based on market, financial, and space obligations that only you can answer for yourself. vermiculite vs. perlite ........I prefer perlite, but vermiculite is extremely effective also. perlite seems to be more forgiving and offers more air flow around the eggs in my opinion. for fertile and infertile egg comparisons, just google image search for the pics...they're there
Q:i am doing a science fair project. topic is vemiculite insulation. so i make a small house and i insulate vermiculite in attics. my control is to check temperature inside the house. how i can do that ?
I honestly don't think you'll be able to do that, as the ambient Temperature outside the Little House will foul the results. After all, you are going to make a small house and put it into a larger one.
Q:Can vermiculite take the place of soil? Is it okay to plant seeds directly in vermiculite?
Vermiculite is a kind of thermal insulation material, garden cultivation can play the role of heat preservation and water conservation, but the plants contain little trace elements, it can not replace the soil. But seeds can be planted directly in just inside.
Q:Does Vermiculite cause impaction? Can I use it in my moist/humid box for my leopard gecko?
part of the answer may be that a plant living on it, its roots around it, derive nothing but physical drainage of he soil, not directly providing anything to the plant ,as sunshine does, for instance. I think it also means does not reproduce, move on its own volition, and has no growth directly on it, like bacteria.
Q:If I use vermiculite or pearlite with my plants would I still be able to say I grew my plants organically?
Fireproofing materials are such construction materials used to withstand heat in case of fire occurred in the building. The following materials usually being fireproofed are doors, walls, windows and ceiling materials. Fireproofing for the materials varies depending on the types and conditions of structure and usually rated in 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 1.50 hours 2 hours fire ratings. Example : The 30 minutes fire rated door can withstand fire without burning up to 30 minutes time.
Q:last night my bearded dragon layed her eggs in her large water bowl,i didntsee them till this morning. she layed 22 all together. i took them out and put them in the container with vermiculite and into the incubator. that was 5 hours ago now. they are still very plum and if i candlelight them i can see the pink spot inside, only thing is they have a yellow tint to them and smell. is there any chance there still alive?what should i do please help!!
What you SHOULD have done was taken the large bowl out and put a small one in. Remember that next time you breed her (if she wasn't bred, why are you incubating slugs? XD). You're probably **** out of luck this time. Incubate the eggs until you're 100% sure they're not going to hatch (i.e. they start to leak or such).
