Im hoping to get an industrial/scaffold piercing done at the very beginning of the summer holidays.Is it possible that they can be pierced with 2 separate pieces of jewellery rather than one bar.Also would it be healed in time to take it out once the holidays are over (6 weeks)??Please help??!?Thanks x

Yep, some piercers prefer to do it that way. Just make sure you let them know that that's what you want when you go into the shop and they can accommodate you. No cartilage piercing is healed enough to remove in 6 weeks. Cartilage piercings can take anywhere from 6-12 MONTHS to fully heal.

I'll assume you mean a LIVE wire, AC. 1. If there is no connection to ground at all, NO. Birds can sit on live wires. 2. The current will flow from wire through body and scaffold to ground, then from ground through scaffold and body to wire, reversing at a rate of 60 times per second (America). Depending on the voltage on the wire, that person will most likely die or even be burned apart.

Scaffolding basically means being the support (a scaffold is a support) in the child's learning. A preschooler can do a range of things. He or she will have mastered some things already and there will also be things that are beyond what he or she can do. When playing with the preschooler, you want to make sure that what's going on falls in that range (zone of proximal development). Don't give him or her something that's too easy or too hard to do, but play games that make them think a little and use what he or she already knows to take it a bit further. I hope I'm not confusing you more. In one sentence..scaffolding is supporting the child in learning something new based on what they already can do or know.

I want to get something pierced. My mom wont let me get anything on my face pierced but she will allow ear and body piercings. I thought about a belly ring but everyone has one amd i'm very skinny and scared it'd rip out. so i've been looking at ear piercings and really like a Targus piercing or a scaffold. But i don't know anything about them really. If you could which one is more painful, problems with them etc. please help, thank you

I had my scaffold pierced yesterday and now it is swollen and red. Its throbbing and painful. I have cleaned it and applied ice and antiseptic spray.I don't own any sea salt.HELP ME! I'M SO TEMPTED TO REMOVE IT.

Antiseptics are too harsh for a healing piercing, the pain, swelling and redness is completely normal. Stop using antiseptic and go to the grocery store to get some non-iodized sea salt, its only a few dollars and you can find it in the spice aisle where the regular salt is.
