- Q: In any match. What was the most chair shot filled match?
- It was at WrestleMania X7 Stone Cold vs The Rock, because in the end of the match, Stone cold smashed the rock with a steel chair 16 times! But many people believe it was The Rock vs Mankind at Royal Rumble 1999- I Quit Match- WWF Championship. If you watch, see how many times Rock lays the Smackdown on Mankind with the chair or you can watch Beyond the Mat. It was 11 Chair Shots, you have to see the match. Mic Foley was left bloody.
- Q: Okay, so I need to find a high chair that I can buy two of that won't take up much room (my dining space is small). They don't need to be foldable because we are doing foster care and we'll have a couple babies. So they will be used very often. I need them to be tough and hold up. I can't have a pad that has to go in the washer. I need to just be able to wipe it. I want a good one. Not the $30 one from walmart....(that one takes up a lot of space! and the pad seems as if it may rip at the seem over time.) I like the Combi Breeze one.....But haven't seen it in person........what do you think??
- we have one that sits right on top of a regular chair, its made of hard plastic and straps to a chair, and can be removed and folded up if you want. I love mine and weve had it through 3 children now, and it still holds up very well. looks brand new. I think the brand is safty first, we bought ours from wal-mart for around 20. Its great and its very safe, our son who is 7 months has been using it since he was 4 months old. I use to put him in it on the counter next to me while i did dishes. LOL they are fantastic! Mom of 5 boys
- Q: There's a chair my grandma got at a garage sale, so its always been in really bad shape, but my dads been attached to it ever since she passed. The springs are starting to cut through the bottom of the chair and the filler (the stuff that gives the chair cushion) is beginning to go with it. I'd really like to reupholster the chair and give it new life. The thing is, I've never done any reupholstering at all. Would this be possible or would I need someone to work on it for me? Are there any good websites with how to videos on this type of thing? I don't care much about the cost. I'm just looking for tips and suggestions. Thanks.
- I agree. i'm basically hoping that equusearch exhibits her body or casey supplies up the fact about what happen and the position caylee is .. so she will be in a position to finally be placed to relax with appreciate! Shes a loopy ***** casey
- Q: Employees use two methods to refinish chairs.Method 1 takes 1.5 hrs and materials cost 6.Method 2 takes 2 hrs and materials cost 5. Next week they plan to spend 273 in labor and 894 in material for refinishing chairs. How many chairs should they plan to refinish with each method.? the # of chairs refinished using method 1? the # of chairs refinished using method 2
- let one hour of work be x and let one unit of money spent be y so to make a chair using method 1 you need 1.5x + 6y similarly you need 2x + 5y to build a chair using method 2 Let a be the number of chairs you build using method 1 Let b be the number of chairs you build using method 2 so a(1.5x + 6y) + b(2x + 5y) = 273x + 894y so 6a + 5b = 894 and 1.5a + 2b = 273 so 6a + 8b = 1092 so 8b - 5b = 1092 - 894 so b = 66 so a = (894-5*66)/6 = 94 so refurnish 94 chairs using method 1 and refurnish 66 chairs using method 2
- Q: I am currently a freshman in high school. I am third chair clarinet in band overall. This is pretty good, and I am expected to do well. The only thing is, I'm not expected to get first chair until my senior year because the 2nd chair is a sophomore (the first chair is moving soon so he's not an issue) and she's expected to get first chair each year. While I do realize being third chair as a freshman is quite good, I don't want to wait until I'm a senior to make first chair. I know that next year there will be a freshman who is quite good (she's in eighth grade and already knows her scales 3 octaves) and may pose as competition. However I don't want to have to think that she is competition. I want to be able to know each time that I will be first chair. I want the sophomore above me to not always expect to be first chair. So my question is, what can I do to ensure that I am first chair? For our auditions we have sight-reading and scales with tone being taken into account considerably.

- Q: I recently got a job as a wheel chair assistant at the airport, and I am so excited! I begin training monday, but I wanted to know if there were any people experienced in it, that can tell me, how easy or hard it might be for me to catch on, and any tips on how to make my job better! Thanks
- As my parents grew older, I helped both of them with wheel chairs. Working at the airport is a good choice, as you are out of a hospital setting and airports have great facilities for those in wheel chairs. Listen well to your supervisor and don't be shy about asking questions, even about the most tiny of things. For example: I was never told the little tricks like parking and locking the wheelchair when helping people in and out, as my supervisor had been doing it for so long, he just assumed that I already knew about those things. Ask about assistance if you have to lift a heavy person out of the chair. How do you ask for assistance from another employee? Actually walk the routes at the airport, even if you are alone. Some turns and ramps may be more difficult to use, or a corner causes the turn to be a tight squeeze for the wheelchair. As you help someone into or out of a wheel chair, make sure that their feet and legs are not blocked. Ask about the policy for holding or carrying a passenger's coat, bag or purse. Passengers dislike bumps and corners that are narrow and cause you to perhaps bump into them. And, often they will get a bit disruptive. Learn like a pro and act like a pro. Airports, for many, are already a bit hassle. Just think if you were restricted to a wheelchair, too. You would be tired, cranky and feel helpless as others just walk by you. Know how to help them in they need to visit the restroom. Finally, you need to be prepared as well. Make sure that you are using your arms, back and legs properly. One last tip, have you ever been in a wheelchair? If not, ask someone to push you around, especially with corners and such. This will help you to know exactly how it feels and you will learn a lot from the experience. I used to work for a hospital and take care of my parents. If your teacher is good, and if you know the territory and how to work the gear, you'll do great. It will be a fun job and you will truly enjoy helping people in need.
- Q: I'm very recently very interested in the old abandoned ski areas. I was wondering if anyone knew of an old area where lifts are still up? or even if the chairs are set on the ground that would be ideal. I'm looking for old chairs to just really get a good sense of the old technology that was used on these old mountain/areas. I've had some great success with finding rope tows and Poma lifts, however chairlifts are hard to find really with chairs still attached! Any information would be great. Just a hint. I am NOT looking to take these. I have found old Poma Bars, T-Bars, and old rope tow handles and always abide by the rules of the area. I have taken ONE T-bar, and asked the mountains owner for permission to take it. I don't know how I could fit a chair in my little Ford Taurus either! Thanks in advance for anyone who will be giving information on an OLD mountain with some chairs attached or lying around!

- Q: I was invited to a baby shower and I was between getting a high chair or a walker for her. Which one do you mothers find more useful?
- A high chair is much more useful! Also the other choice would be a exersauser or one of those bounce things. All of my children have been in walkers and lived and they are not anywhere close to delayed. As long as a child is properly watched and not stuck in it all day long there should be no problem. Same goes with an exersauser or bouncy. All of these things are not used until about 4-6 months of age so if you are looking for something for them to use right off I would stick to diapers, wipes, soap, shampoo, lotions, and other newborn necessities.
- Q: torture chair
- John Farnham built the torture chair. The inspiration for the chair came from a conversation with Decay back in 2002. Originally, the idea was to build a torture chamber. A room in which once you entered the door would automatically lock behind you. Windows would allow spectators to watch you writhe in agony until your time was up and the door unlocked. The concept was developed into the chair. First used in Wellington November 2002. For 2004, the chair was re-upholstered. Some LED lighting and a siren was added. During Mortifera the chair got a bit of a work out. Only some victims recorded their time scores. The supreme award went to Nat who endured an incredible 30 plus minutes. The torture chair was made to give people penalties ( Also know as the Death Penalty ) for doing something bad. Sometimes they would do it to make it hurt but not make the person die and other times they would make them die. The torture chair is also known as the Judas Chair. There are many variants of the chair. They all have one thing in common: spikes cover the back, arm-rests, seat, leg-rests and foot-rests. The number of spikes in one of these chairs ranges from 500 to 1,500. To avoid movement, the victim's wrists were tied to the chair or, in one version, two bars pushed the arms against arm-rests for the spikes to penetrate the flesh even further. In some versions, there were holes under the chair's bottom where the torturer placed coal to cause severe burns while the victim still remained conscious. This instrument's strength lies primarily in the psychological fear caused on the victims. It was a common practice to extract a confession by forcing the victim to watch someone else be tortured with this instrument. The time of death greatly varied ranging from a few hours to a day or more. No spike penetrated any vital organ and the wound was closed by the spike itself which delayed blood loss greatly. Hope I helped!
