- Q:Im not very good with computers but I wanna buy Radeon hd 6850 graphic card, I have a 500 watt psu but I heard I need a 6 pin cable which my psu doesnt have. Can I use a 6 Pin PCI Express Video Card Power Cable Adapter?
- Maybe. Some smaller PSUs don't have the right power rails (the way power is distributed to the wires) to do that for a power hungry card. Maybe, but I doubt it, considering the other stuff it must run. Bigger supplies have the correct wire harness for your card.
- Q:Okay after installing Deus Ex on a brand new PS3 slim I pressed the start button and when the screen went black the console hanged, I couldn't even press the PS button, at the suggestion of a friend I yanked the power cable. Now it works fine but I'm wary of putting Deus Ex back in, I doubt that its regioning since there's no such thing. - If pulling the power cord was the *only* way to turn it off, that's ok, you just don't want to do it frequently. As for the game itself, the only thing I can think of is to make sure other games work. If so, then something about the game itself is causing the fault, but not sure what. If anything, I would say contact Sony for assistance in that regard.
- Q:Hi. I recently purchased an EVGA Geforce GTX 670 FTW video card that need two 6 pins pci-e power cables. The problem is that the 2 in my pc have L shaped dongles in which one can't connect to the video card due to how it's designed. Is there any way to extend the dongle for reach? - As far as i know you need both connected. you might have updated your bios that's why your four pin isn't working. Do check the power configurations in your bios. I am definitely sure that's where the problem is. Hope that helps.

- Find out the make/model of your motherboard. Go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and download the user manual for your motherboard. In this manual there should be a page (or pages) illustrating where the various headers and connectors are on your motherboard.

- Could you install it without a fuse. Yes. Should you install it without a fuse. No. If your power wire ever got shorted out it would melt and catch of fire. Their have been cars that burned to the ground because they did not have fuses.

- Does your Seagate hard drive have an OS installed? INstalling a new hard drive includes loading the OS as well. Otherwise, you have an empty file cabinet. Good Luck
