6.Conditions of use
Pumps used in the following conditions should be continuously to work properly:
1. For water pumps suitable medium, medium temperature shall not exceed + 40°C
2. The medium PH value between 6.5 ~ 8.5
3. The volume of medium containing solid impurity is less than 0.1%, the size is not more than 0.2 mm
4. The power frequency 50 hz, voltage for single-phase 220 v, 380 v, three-phase voltage fluctuation range for rating of 0.9 to 1.1 times
5. Diving depth of no more than 5 m, is not suitable for irrigation and drainage of sewage and chemicals.

- Q: I want to build a portable, working steam room display for trade shows. I need to feed water from a storage tank to a steam generator when it's called for. How can I do this? Is there a type of water pump that would work for this?
- Be careful what you buy. Most aquarium pumps are AIR pumps. Why not just use a siphon? As long as the storage tank is higher than the generator it will work. Get a hose or plastic tubing of the size you need, put one end in the tank. Suck on the tubing to start flow. To stop flow just pinch off the pipe or raise the spout above the water level. you might even install a valve if the tubing is large enough.

- If you had a water pump leak you'd know it! There would be coolant draining out of water pump seal the minute you filled the cooling system. A water pump leak doesn't get coolant into the motor. It will get the timing belt wet with antifreeze and cause the belt to jump time and possibly bend your valves. The only way you'll get coolant in the motor oil is if there is a head gasket leak. To check for that you need to have a block test done.

- Nobody can accurately answer this question until you give more information. To size a pump, you need to know the flow rate you are trying to acheive (gallons per minute) and the total head (feet) you are trying to acheive. GPM is based off the max flow rate of the fixtures you are using at any given time. Fixtures such as toilets and sinks have typical flow rates. Head is calculated by taking your incoming water pressure (psi) and subtracting pressure losses from pipes and fittings (psi) and working pressure of your furthest fixture. For a small building, like a house, you can probably estimate your head to be the height of your building (incoming water pipe to ceiling of top floor). If that distance is 30 feet, you'll want a pump to acheive 30 feet of head at about 5 gpm. 5 gpm will allow for a shower and a sink to run at the same time. Toilets are low gpm unless you are using flush valves instead of flush tanks. I've never heard of Valco or Davey. In commercial applications, I've always used Bell and Gossett, but that may be overkill. Just make sure the pump you are getting is a pressure booster pump and not another kind of pump.

- Q: Motor has over 200k miles. Water pump took a dump. Gear is very wobbly! primary timing chain tensioner off the right bank hasn't any tension on chain at all! Crank turns but doesn't turn the chain. So motor is way out of time for sure now.Found small piece of aluminum and 2 -1/2pieces of appears to be a spring pin. Am I correct to assume these pieces are from the water pump? A new chain and water pump I can see doing on this old motor! But? Any suggestions on what to do next before I waste my money? - I also own a 2001 Intrepid and recently had a water pump go bad which also broke my timing chain. The pieces of aluminum you found are probably valves or valve springs from the head. Mine broke every vavle and spring on one head when my engine jumped time and a few more on the other head that is probably what your seeing. Also you don't want to check for compression by turning the crank manually. It is an expensive job to fix but the cars are great but I wouldn't spend too much on them because they only go for about $3000-3700 in great condition nowadays. Good Luck
- Q: when i drove my truck after about 15 minutes i was parked and let my truck idle afetr about a minute of idling my truck stalled and when i turned it back of it was squeeking and made some noises for about ten seconds and then stopped. I noticed that the pully on my fan coming from the water pump was wobbling. my tempuratue was still normal what could cause this i am suspecting taht the bearings in my water pump went?
- you are likely right, usually the pump will leak a bit of water by this point, i did mine in my van and can be difficult cause you must seperate the fan. do not let this problem continue cause u will be broke down. replace the thermostat, bypass hose and check clutch and all hoses that are getting weak, and if possible do a power flush of the system..
