Q:What are under-wired bras?
they just have a wire underneath each cup of the bra. they are sewed inside of the bra, i must say that they are FAR better than regular bras. but i heard that under wire bras can cause cancer if you wear them frequently. not sure if its true though.
Q:Baking Clay in Oven with Wires?

Q:Calculate tension in 3 wires?
You need to use summation of forces. Wires 1 and 2 are gonna have the same tension on them, just in opposite directions. so in the x direction, Fx=125cos(30)+125cos(150) (the vertical wire doesn't contribute to the x-direction forces and I choose 150 because the wire on the left really has an angle of 180-30 or 150) in the y direction, Fy=125sin(30)+125sin(150)+125sin(90) (The vertical wire is a 90 degree angle) Tension=sqrt( Fx^2 + Fy^2 )
Q:help with my cd wiring!!?
sparky is right. The yellow wire keeps the memory, and should have constant power even when the ignition is off. The red wire should have power only when the ignition is on. If the radio is left on when you turn the car off, it will come back on when you start the car, but only if the radio keeps constant power on the yellow wire. For your car: The constant power wire should be orange (connect to radio's yellow wire) The switched power wire should be yellow (connect to radio's red wire)
Q:Crossing dryer plug wires?
The red and the black each deliver 110 volts to the prongs to which they are connected in the plug. As long as the neutral is correctly positioned, the power should be okay and nothing should be damaged. If he also mixed up the white wire, and put one of the red or blacks where the white is supposed to go, it could have caused a problem. If the heating element works correctly, then you are still getting 240 volts to the dryer. I'm inclined to think there is a problem where the motor is connected to the power, or there may be a separate fuse on the dryer that blew during the wiring process.
Q:what does it mean when they say a lead to a wire?
the lead is the wires showing. lead wire can also mean attaching a wire and feed it through a wall attach other end to the wire and pull it through. Now if you need both ends to have wire showing take a utility knife firmly place wire on block of wood and lightly cut through the caseing. thats the thick wire that en cases the other wires and peal back and then cut it off. then carefully hold blade of utility knife and wire aganst your thumb on a 45 degrees away from you and pull that will strip the plastic off the wires hope that answers your question dave
Q:1996 eagle talon/or eclipse wiring.?
If your trying to wire a aftermarket radio into your car just go to best buy or any other car audio dealer and buy a wiring harness. It plugs directly into your stock wiring harness and on the opposite side has the correct colors of your aftermarket harness that came with the deck. All you have to do is color match and crimp.
Q:Dimmer switch w/ 3 wires and only 2 wall wires?
If you don't know the basic rule of matching up the colors when wiring something, you may want to avoid doing anymore wiring projects in the future, for your own safety and to keep from destroying your stuff. First of all, turn off the power at the breaker or remove the fuse for that switch. Then: Black to Black, White to White, you can just let the green wire hang or, if you have a metal box, attach it to that. (that's your ground wire, no power goes thru it when things are working properly). Sometimes in older houses (or ones where amatures did the wiring the first time) the colors might not be correctly assigned (usually, black is hot and white is neutral) if your light only flips off and on instead of dimming like it should when you try it, you will have to switch the wires so that it is black to white and white to black (You probably won't need to do that though). Use wire nuts to connect the wires together, not just electrical tape. Good luck and be safe!
Q:why use steel wire in building construction?
Steel wires have high strength than the usual reinforcement bars and usually it is used for prestress or post tension beams which can span very big spans without mid supports, especially good for bridges railways bridges and flyovers.
Q:Pyle Audio Single Speaker Wire Trouble?
Wow. I haven't seen a car stereo with that style of wiring in 20 years. Their is no manual online so I am going to assume that it is setup the same as stereos made in the 1980's. You are correct, both left speaker positives go to the left channel wire and the same for the right side. All four speaker negatives go to the ground wire. That means a total of six wires being connected together ( ground from stereo, ground from car, four speaker negatives ).and the red goes to full time battery power. The pics I have seen do not show a yellow memory wire, so you will have to remember to turn the stereo off when you get out of the car. Or it will play til it runs the battery down. Also, you didn't say what kind of car you have, but if it's a modern car with fuel injection and a ECM, I would bet you are going to have ignition noise problems. It's one of the many reasons people stopped using common ground car stereos.
