Q:Some of my friends are trying to see what is the most creative, yet still meaningful way to ask a girl to prom. I decided to use 1000 origami cranes, and for those who don't know, the meaning (in Japanese lore) behind 1000 cranes is that the maker gets to make one wish, and its also traditional to give them to someone to wish happiness and prosperity upon them.
I love the idea!!! it's really cute!!! I have the perfect idea...it just hit me! MY IDEA: Do you have a lake or some type of water flowing in your school yard? Trees too? If yes, then here's the idea: 1. Put some type of plastic wrap at the bottom of each crane so they can float on the water. 2. Hang those oragomis you've shown in trees. 3.Have one of your female friends get her and bring her to the area. 4. Then when she's wondering what's going on....here's where you come in. You said that 1,000 oragomis stand for a wish right? This is what you say with a crane out of the water in your hand: Behind these cranes, is a maker who has a wish. When you hand her the crane, she'll get the point. Hope she says yes! And if she says no, screw her! I wish the guy who asked me was that creative. Any girl should happy to have a guy go through this much just for her. Good Luck Dude!!!!!
Q:More than meters of tower cranes must be equipped with red barrier lights at the top
To see the land of tower crane or floating crane... Basically,
Q:if a crane just shows up and doesn't go what does that mean
know but studying the crane makes a good Kung-Fu style.
Q:Does anyone have any info on John B. Crane?
Do you mean the Lecturer John B. Crane of the Redpath Chautauqua Collection? Thats the only one I know.
Q:How were Churches and really tall buildings constructed hundreds of years ago before the invention of cranes?
Scaffolding, Pulley systems and lots of muscle and sweat.
Q:I looking for information on the surname Crane.?
The name Crane was first used among the Boernician people of the Scottish-English border region. It is a name for a person whose was tall, and had long legs. This nickname derived from the Old English words cranuc, and cornuc, which mean crane. Spelling variations occur frequently in Scottish names that date from the medieval era. They result from a general lack of grammatical rules and the tendency to spell names according to sound. Crane has been spelled Crane, Craine, Crain, Cran, Crann, Crayne and others. First found in Suffolk where they were seated from very early times and were granted lands by Duke William of Normandy, their liege Lord, for their distinguished assistance at the Battle of Hastings in 1066 A.D. In the 20th century, the ancestors of many of those Boernician-Scottish people still populate North America. They distributed themselves on either side of the border at the time of the War of Independence. United Empire Loyalists went north to Canada and those who wanted a new nation stayed south. Both groups went on to found great nations. Some of the first North American settlers with Crane name or one of its variants: Jasper Crane who settled in Boston Mass. in 1637; Richard Crane settled in Virginia in 1635; Samuel Crane settled in Virginia in 1653; Mary Crane settled in Virginia in 1684. Some noteworthy people of the name Crane * Harold Hart Crane, American poet * Robert Edward Crane, American disc jockey and actor, best known for his performance in the television sitcom Hogan's Heroes * Stephen Townley Crane, American novelist. * Professor Francis Crane, Law * Sir Harry Crane, * Morley Crane, Pomology * William M. Crane, eponym of USS Crane, Wickes class destroyer
Q:I have this assignment to find out how a climbing crane is able to move up the building as construction continues.
They add extra stages from the bottom. A tower crane is erected from a boom assembly, first and second tower sections of different cross section, and a base in a sequence of steps in which the boom assembly is mounted on a hollow climbing section dimensioned to be received in each of the larger second tower sections and defining a cavity dimensioned to receive each of the first tower sections. One of the latter is secured on a base in upright position, and the upright section is received in the cavity of the climbing section which is then raised relative to the first section and enveloped by one of the second sections. The enveloping section is secured to the base and the raised climbing section for supporting the climbing section whereupon the first tower section may be released from the base, raised, and secured to the second tower section. The climbing section may then be raised relative to the first tower section to permit the installation of another second section, and the procedure repeated, until all second or larger tower sections are superimposed on each other, the one first section being ultimately attached to the topmost second section. When the climbing section is raised relative to the attached first section, another first section may be superimposed on the one first section and the procedure repeated until the slimmer portion of the tower is assembled from superimposed first sections. Ultimately, the boom assembly is attached to the topmost first tower section, and the climbing section may be removed or stored for further use on the wider, lower tower portion.
Q:Is their a difference between a flamingos and cranes birds?
Yes quite some difference,Flamingos are crustacean feeders brine shrimp and similar, feeding by sifting water through their bills by a pumping action and feed in water.Their habitat is Tropical climbs Cranes on the other hand are mainly land or swamp birds feeding on Frogs Lizards even snakes and other insects., they live in various regions even in cold areas. This is only a brief description so I hope it has helped
Q:Which one is a better investment? I can get both for 200dollars
The engine support is mainly for dropping the tranny, used before the car is up on a lift. The crane is for lifting the engine while the four wheels are on the ground. Most timing belts can be done without lifting the engine. Lifting the engine involves a very long list of procedures before actually yanking it up even a few inches. You have to disconnect and support the transmission, drain coolant and fluids and disconnect the hoses and wires, remove the engine mount bolts, maybe pull the radiator out, disconnect the A/C system lines, and remove the tranny and oil cooler lines, the coolng fans, shroud, hood, and so on. Good luck!
Q:if i make 1000 origami cranes what does that mean?doesnt it mean that you get a wish or something? cause i heard a story about it a long time ago but i dont remember. im pretty sure that if you make 1000 cranes you get one wish
Yeah, but you'll probably wish that you hadn't spent so much time making that many paper cranes.
