Q: Does anyone know if churches rent out chairs for private weddings ?: I assume you are talking about renting chairs for the reception, and the answer is, it depends. Each church is different. But usually, if you rent the hall, chairs and tables are included in the price. Otherwise, if you have a caterer, they can arrange for the chairs as well. If you use the church for the ceremony, there will be chairs (of course) in the sanctuary. If you have the ceremony in the reception all, then again, the chairs usually come with the space. If for some reason you have to rent chairs, however, the cost is not too bad. We needed to do it for a big party in my family (not in a church), and the rental company arranged to deliver the chairs and pick them up. I don't remember the price right now, but I remember being surprised at how reasonable it was. There are so many big expenses for a wedding. Chairs are going to be only a minor part. Q: How do trans/cis play a role in chair structres?I drew out Lindane (Cis 1,2,4,5, Trans 3,6, hexachlorocyclohexzne)The Carbons on the 1,2,4,5 are not the same. They alternate between Axial and Equatorial. What exactly does Cis and Trans mean in this structure. I cannot find a pattern that relates 'cis or trans' to the structure.: For a cyclic hydrocarbon like Lindane, cis and trans refer to the stereochemistry between adjacent carbons in a flat representation of the structure. Cis means the bonds (in this case, C-Cl bonds) go in the same direction, whereas trans means the other direction, when drawn flat. If you draw a hexagon, the C-Cl bonds at positions 1, 2, 4 and 5 will have the same type of bond (either a wedged or a hashed bond, whichever way you draw it, but they must be the same). The bonds at the 3 and 6 positions will be the other type. However, when you draw the hydrocarbon in chair conformation, the rules change a bit. However, if you really love the fabric, you most certainly can use a heavier gauge clear plastic vinyl over the quilting fabric for a long life and wipe clean feature. I used vinyl on my kitchen chairs and quite frankly, it lasted so long that I actually tired of the fabric and it was in like new condition when I redecorated. Even if you change your mind and use upholstery fabric, you really do not need much fabric. Home Decorating fabric is 54 wide. You will need 2/3 of a yard/24 of fabric for every two chairs. A 54w , 24l piece of fabric cut in half will net you two 27x 24 chair tops. So, you will only need 1 1/3 yards per every four chairs, believe it or not. So, it is affordable. If you have enough extra chairs that having one turned into a high chair isn't a problem, just get a booster seat that attaches to a chair. The ones that attach to the tables have a weight limit, and actual high chairs have mobility issues. I have both a high chair and a feeding chair for my daughter, we rarely used the high chair in our old apartment because it didn't fold, and took up a lot of space. I have a safety first foldable travel chair and my daughter uses it all the time. It's nice cause you can use it to help them learn to sit up(if your daughter isn't already), it can be used at the table or stands alone on the floor without the height danger, for snacktime or when you're out at the beach or something. It has a tray and a removable liner to make cleanup easier. It straps to a regular chair just as sturdily as a carseat, and it has straps as well.
