1. Description of solar pumps.
CNBM Solar Water Pump is the pumping facility driven by solar energy, which consists of a solar pumping inverter and a pump. Solar water pumps kit is called solar pumping system combining with solar arrays designed according to different head and daily water flow for application. System is widely utilized for agriculture irrigation, desert control, pasture animal husbandry, city landscaping, daily water supply, etc.
In recent years, with the development of photovoltaic products from city application to huge demands of agriculture, pasture, desert areas, CNBM Solar Pond Pump has become the leading products combining photovoltaic industry with traditional industry such as agriculture water conservancy, desert control, daily water supply, city landscaping, etc.
CNBM Solar Pump driven by infinite solar energy, works from sunrise, and stops at sunset, need no connection to grid power nor diesel oil and battery. System can irrigate directly or store water instead of electricity in a reservoir. Solartech Solar fountain Pumps works with sprinkling irrigation, drip irrigation and infiltrating irrigation facilities, can be more efficient for water saving and dramatically lower the cost of using fossil energy.
2. Technical Features
Solar Water Pump is a pumping device powered by solar energy, consists of a solar pumping inverter and a deep well pump, mainly used for agriculture irrigation, desert control, pasture animal husbandry, city waterscape, seawater desalination, living water supply and so on. And there are lots of excellent advantages with regard the Solar Water Pumps.
1> Use solar energy, need no connection to grid.
2> Automatically operation, maintenance free.
3> Easy to install and move, high universality.
4> Clean and green, high economic benefits.
CNBM solar pump kit also named solar water pumps, solar pond pump, solar borehole pump, solar funtain pumps, solar powered water pump, solar irrigation pump, solar deep well pump, and solar submersible pump.
3. Specification details.
1> Flow: Max. 700m³/day. (6 hours total)
2> Head: Max. 290m
3> Power: 0.37Kw~55Kw
4. FAQ
1> May we ask if the bare pump or the whole pump system would be all acceptable for you to make the arrangements?
The bare pump and the who systems would be all acceptable at your side. A controller will be equipped with the pump freely. Regarding the whole system, we can also make the best solar panels configuration according to your requirements.
2> How would we choose the DC or AC Solar Pump?
DC pumps had a better performance in the smaller power, such as if the power is below 3Kw. DC would be better. If the power is more than 3Kw, then AC would be much better. By the way, DC also can't achieve the bigger specification.
3> Can your pump work automatically?
Yes, it would be the basic advantage of solar water pumps.
- Q: Water pump part is stainless steel, which part is it?
- Of any part of the body that is in contact with water
- Q: what makes pump come on every 10 seconds when water is on
- Your tank is water logged add air to the top of the tank and this will take care of the problem.
- Q: When we turn our water on in the house it will run for a while and then shut off.. It has been coming back on after 5 0r 6 mins.it used to do this about once a week but now it does it every day we don't mess with any breakers because they don't get triped . We are on well and this well is about 7 yrs old anyone have an idea what could be the problem .. If any more info is needed I can reply..
- Would say the pressure switch is bad. You might try TURNING OFF THE POWER to the well. Use a voltage tester to make sure it is off. Use a finger nail file to file the contacts of the switch, make sure they are clean and smooth when you are through. Turn power on and watch operation of the switch, If you have a pressure gage at the switch the switch should make at about 30 psi and open at about 50 psi. If you have to replace switch be sure and add a pressure gage as it is very helpful in setting switch and troubleshooting system..
- Q: Who knows? Is the motor with a pump a squirrel cage induction motor?
- Should be a squirrel cage motor for winding asynchronous motor for high torque applications. For example, its structure and the hoist crane cage motor with different rotor loop it can slip ring external resistor. The motor rotor circuit principle know that certain external resistance can reduce the starting current, but also can improve the rotor circuit power factor and torque. The pump load does not need large torque. So it should be the squirrel cage induction motor.
- Q: I want to build a portable, working steam room display for trade shows. I need to feed water from a storage tank to a steam generator when it's called for. How can I do this? Is there a type of water pump that would work for this?
- I would buy a little aquarium filter pump to feed the steam system. You can regulate it with a little valve in the tubing and use any kind of tub as a reservoir for the water depending on the amount you need to create the steam.
- Q: We recently fixed our stone water fountain, and now we're trying to get it working. THe pump we had was about 5 yrs old, and didn't work. We've tried to get a new one online, but it only had one inlet for the water to go into the pump, and that got clogged in a matter of about 5 minutes. Since our garden has many trees, it's almost impossible for us to keep the fountain 100% clean all the time to prevent clogging. Anybody know where to get a pump for a 15gal fountain, that has multiple inlets?
- Alex - It's best to look for water fountain pump based on there GPH i.e. Gallon per hour ratings - this is the rating that show how many gallons of water is the pump able to recirculate in one hour. First answer to look for is the GPH rating of your original fountain pump. Also, most of the higher GPH fountains have several inlets, so that should not be an issue if you get a higher GPH pump. Just keep in mind that higher the GPH, higher the power consumption, and thereby, higher electric bills. Just look up the sources I am pointing out below and I am sure you would find a good fountain pump for your garden fountain.
- Q: It's been slowly leaking for awhile now, but today it dumped brown water out like a bucket, when I shut it off facing up hill.
- water pumps last less than 100k miles, get a replacement pump ,it should come with a gasket set. you may need to removed the fan shroud. Remove the serpentine belt (remember how it went on!) unbolt the old pump, you'll loose a lot of fluid ,so don't let Fido drink it. Now reverse the process and don't loose any bolts or drink beer while your doing this! The brown stuff you saw, was water .be sure you refill with coolant or the seals on your new pump are gonna get thrashed. Good luck kid.
- Q: The pump works and water goes to the house from the reserve tanks but there can be long delays before it cuts in after mains pressure is lost. After it stops the pressure gauge falls back slowly to zero. Pressure vessel is a sphere has a valve on top. Any suggestions ?
- The guage is probably broken, but that is mostly for reference for setting your start/stop switch. Now, first off I'd check your bladder tank. A bad bladder tank will still give you some pressure but causes the pump to run almost constantly. To test that, there is a bicycle looking air valve sticking out of the bladder tank. Push a key or something in it as if you were to let air out of a tire. If any water comes out, your bladder is bad and has to be replaced. If you have an older style deep well, like a well house where the pump is accessible, check the switch, (little black box attached to the pump). There are two screws that can be turned. One sets the pressure the pump will turn off at and the other adjusts the minimum pressure you want for the water to turn back on and fill your tank. A lot of people go 20/40, I run mine at 30/50. Much more than that and you can run into problems, especially if you have cpvc pipes. They will weaken at the elbows and 60 psi of water can eventually make pin hole leaks. This is from personal experience. You will need a working gauge to set this. If the bladder is not your problem, email me and I'll give you more details on how to set your pump if you need it. Or, you can buy preset switches at your local hardware for $20 and just swap it out. In that case, do not mess with the adjustment screws.
- Q: Why should the water pump be opened in time after the pump is started?
- The circulating water pump outlet valve is closed when starting, normal after the water outlet valve is opened, I found that, with the valve opening, the current is slowly sinking, you tell me why?, and the other is the opposite of the pump (with the valve opening current increases).
- Q: I need to install water pump and need to know the cost already purchase pump
- Same labor as timing belt replacement, which you may want to have done at the same time. Probably 6 to 9 hours.
