Q:I have african cichlids, I am having a hard time raising the PH. My PH seems to be stuck at 7.0. I have tried PH up, and african rift lake salt. Is there anything else I can try to help raise it. Any info, would be great.
A stable PH is the best PH. You should never use PH up in any tank. As soon as it hits the carbon filters it is pulled from the tank immediately dropping the PH bact to where it was. This isn't good for the fish. Naturally raising the ph is as simple as adding a couple of sea shells to your filter. You can use a netting or even a carbon containter for your filter and place sea shells crushed coral dolomite into the filter and let it run. This will naturally bring up the PH. you can also burry sea shells below your substrate so they are hidden (or leave them out in the open) Starting off with a 6,8 is lower than what you are getting at a 7 in the tank. Use the salt and add shells or crushed corals in the filter. This will raise the ph naturally over the course of a few days and it will hold an 8.
Q:Here they are I did most other questions.1: How are all the land-derived sedimentary rocks further sub-divided?2: What class of sedimentary rocks is monomineralic?3: The compaction and cementation of rounded pebbles forms a rock called:a) Brecchia b) Granite c) Conglomerate d) Limestone4: Which of the following forms as a result of precipiation from seawater?a) sandstone b) gypsum c) basalt d) shale5: Which of the following rocks forms in two very different ways?a) shale b) limestone 3) siltstone 4) rock saltThanks so much!lt;3
1) sandstone, shale, conglomerate (by size of clasts) 2) mainly carbonates (limestone, dolomite) 3) c 4) b 5) Not sure. maybe b, because it can be organic or non-organic?
Q:This ain‘t lame poetry we‘re talking here. And what‘s so wrong with the line I‘ll pound you with my cane like Dolomite?I swear, women have no concept of true romance!
Cuz that's the closest that a rapper will come to writing a real song, dolomite is a rock unless the cane is made from rock I don't see it happening. The author probably don't even know what dolomite is it just rhymed so they used it, typical rap ignorance
Q:i have both trying to find out which one yoou guys like more
Warrior Dolomite Spyne, warrior has a good background of making good reliable hockey sticks. Apparently the One 95 is very overrated. I used to have the old warrior dolomite nipple grip, and i loved it ! Best stick on the market. I really trust warrior, but dont get me wrong, Nike Bauer makes some nice sticks too.
Q:Besides using coal for fuel, what are some other uses of other organic sedimentary rock?
Organic Sedimentary Rock
Q:I need to know the characteristics of MG-calcite in corals. I also need to know why they are more suitable for coralline algae
yep. it will still look like a crappy car with expensive rims and tires.
Q:Im going camping with my family in late July and each site costs $21 per night and were staying for 5 nights. Has any one camped at any of thees sites? Did you like them? and are their ant near by trails that are nice? Thanks so much!!!!! :)
The whole area is too hot and dry for me. Ranger Contact: USFS - Humboldt-Toiyabe NF, Spring Mtns NRA (702) 515-5400, emerg (702) 872-5306
Q:What is on your Bucket List?
My goodness, I am super late answering this. I seem to be doing that a lot lately. Well, great question, anyway. 1. Learn sign language. 2. Swim in the ocean. Any ocean. 3. See the Grand Canyon. 4. Publish a book. 5. Rob a bank. 6. Then give all the money back and apologize to the bank. 7. Make my own Chex Mix recipe. 8. Meet Johnny Depp. 9. Gain a hundred pounds, then lose it in two weeks. That's probably not healthy, but hey, this is America. 10. Learn the lyrics to every Beatles song. 11. Go to a rock concert. And dance. 12. Fall in love and get married. 13. Do the Cha Cha Slide with a large group of people. 14. Graduate high school and go to college. 15. Eat fire. 16. Fly. 17. Buy a puppy. 18. Chew gum. I haven't chewed gum in a really long time. I wants some gum. 19. Count to a million. 20. Meet a Y!A contact. (Yes, I stole this idea. I'm sorry.) 21. Go to Europe and see the whole thing. 22. Go on a game show and get rich! 23. Cheat death. 24. Learn to play poker. 25. Then go to a casino. 26. Save the world. 27. Get my doctorates in. something 28. Paint a really nice picture. 29. Meet an Oompa Loompa. 30. Create a cool sock collection. Lyra- Yeah, it's pretty sad. The largest group of people I've ever done the Cha Cha Slide was with three others. It'd be a lot funner to do it with like fifteen or more people.
Q:I play centre midfield and I like pushing the ball a lot. I know I need to start hitting the ball across the field for more ‘zippy‘ play but my stick won‘t take it. Its pretty old although I wouldn‘t blame it entirely. Its a Mercian, although I‘m more of a defensive player than an attack. What stick should I get? Its field hockey so I play on a astro or water based pitch. Been playing for 3-4 years and play for club and school. I am 15 years old and would like the stick to last at least a season :D
Lacrosse is cool. unfortunately, I don't know much about sticks.
Q:Are the Niagara Falls formed by costructive or destructive forces/?
Niagara Falls was formed by glacial melt and debris flow that began to erode the dolomite and shale cliffs of the falls until they formed tall, steep edges. The edge of the falls is continuing to recede due to constant erosion even today. So, I would say destructive forces.
