- Q:I got mine done about 10 weeks ago, with the two rings either side of the ear to give it healing space, then about 2 weeks ago, got the bar put through it... but I still can't sleep/lie on it comfortably. How long after getting the piercing, roughly, have people been able to sleep on their without it hurting?
- It takes 6-12 months for a cartilage piercing to heal when done properly with a needle and double that time if a gun was used. I don#x27;t know why they pierced you with rings (should never be used in a scaffold#x2F;industrial piercing) and especially why they changed it to a bar so soon. You should have been pierced with a bar to begin with because changing the jewelry like that causes irritation and prolongs healing time. I think you need to find a different piercer.
- Q:I need to build something using stainless steel tube or scaffolding tube. What is the cheapest place in the UK to get it ... with no minimum order quantities? Thanks.
- Like molitor said, if someone wants your bike bad enough, there's hardly any way to stop them. However, theives are like roaches; they don't want to be seen and scurry away when they think they're found out. Anything you do to slow them down works in your favor because it urges them to move on to easier pickings. Incidently, every system has its weakness. How good is your chain? Just because a chain is big doesn't mean it's strong. Even cheap Chinese bolt cutters will cut through a really big cheap chain, soft bolt or cheap padlock. Go for the high quality chains used by truckers to bind down loads or the type designed for overhead hoists. They may not be as big as others, but they are really tough and will give bolt cutters a run for their money. If you have bolts anywhere on the chain, use grade 8 and a good, hardened lock.
- Q:I'm 15 atm, I want either an industrial piercing now or a scaffold piercing that I can connect later. I may be getting a scaffold piercing instead, seeing as school regulations here probably won't allow a full industrial. It might just be a phase but I've wanted one for a while, and if I don't like it I can always just keep the scaffold piercing if I decide to get that. What I'm wondering is: Are there any people who have an industrial? does it annoy you? does it get infected easily? and how long did it take to fully heal?I'd appreciate all answers, even if you only know someone with one. Thanks in advance.
- max said it perfect.. just keep it clean .. dont get that industrial caught on anything itll rip half your ear off ive seen it and that will cost alot to fix and is permanent .. so be careful climbing trees etc .. doing kid stuff with advanced piercing work.
- Q:Weight of bowl buckle scaffold
- Vertical rod specification A (mm) B (mm) theoretical weight (kg) riser LG-60 6004.30 LG-120 12007.41 LG-180 180010.67 LG-240 240014.02 LG-300 300017.31
- Q:i'm writting an essay about symbols in the scarlet letter. can you tell me what the scaffold symbolizes or any other symbols. thanks
- The scaffold symbolizes the cruel public exposure of private sins and the means of redemption through confession. The elements of nature symbolizes good and evil. For instance, weeds, darkness, and shade represent evil, while flowers, sun, and light represents good.
- Q:So I've had my 14g industrial for about 5 months now and would like to change it to something else and I got curious about what kind of jewelry I could possibly use with this piercing. Like can I use labrets, tragus, helix or plain stud with rounded backs or the same gauge? I've tried looking it up, but I can't seem to find anything.
- Two curved barbells could replace your industrial piercing, you should select barbell with length for you comfort and additional length.
- Q:Another from the ministry of silly questions…I’d like to support a lightweight tarpaulin over my back yard. Single slope, high side attached to the house and low side attached to a scaffolding pole, running horizontally between two walls. Fair weather, no high winds or pooling. The run of pole would be 8 meters. The longest poles seem to be 6m, so I need to use a coupling. Will this be strong enough – ish? I imagine the most stressed point would be just around the edges of the coupling, so If I used two joints/couplings in the bar, wouldn’t I half the strain on a single one? Also if I made the joints at 1m and 7m would that be better than to have a joint in the middle where the most flexing will be?Also bit more expensive, but with Aluminium the bar will be 20kg lighter – buy will it be as strong joint wise? Will a tubular coupling be as good as a external one?If anyone knows.. Thanks!
- The problem with your proposal is that you realise that the wind/rain could have an effect but chose to ignore the consequences if it occurs. 'Proper' scaffolding is designed and such an unsupported span would never occur in a 'normal' scaffold so the standard calculations would not work. There is also the possible effect on the walls, could they take an abnormal load? I would look at theatrical or music stage hire using trussed beams.
- Q:how can you tell is a scaffolding piercing is infected?
- Excessive redness extending well beyond the piercing area, hot to the touch, yellow/green pus with an odor.
- Q:For my last piercing i think im gona make it worth it and get one of them ^^^ but i just looked on a website that describes them as both of them words i was just wondering are they completely different piercings ? and if so which one would be the better one to get?
- From what I've seen what the piercing is called varies from country - in the US/Canada I've heard most people call it an industrial, and the people that have called it scaffold are typically from the UK.
- Q:And how long do you have to keep it on? Any other knowledge I should know?
- 8 - 16 weeks - healing time. But with some people it can be alot longer! Clean 3 - 4 times a day. Try cleaning with a mix of tea tree oil and water! It doesn't hurt much :)
