Q: I'm asking this in favour of my friend who currently has no internet.She had her scaffold piercing done about 2 days ago and today it got knocked and started bleeding. It's been bleeding for about 3 hours now and she's worried about it.: First you gotta stop touching it, that's probably causing the irratation, hence bleeding. IT'll take time to heal, just leave it alone clean out the blood every hour or so, BE CAREFUL! and LEAVE IT IN!

Q: I'm 14 and getting my scaffold pierced soon. I am terrible with nerves and pain. I had a panic attack getting my doubles pierced. To calm my nerves, can you tell me what to expect?: I've passed out getting shots before! Almost to the point where I had a seizure. And I got mine done, and I thought I was going to pass out again! But my lady was really nice. It really doesn't feel like anything more than a lobe piercing, but you feel a bit of a pinch the second time it goes through. Nothing more! You'll be fine. Ask if you can hang around for a bit after to make sure you're okay! Good luck. Just take a deep breath in, then let it out as the needle goes through. Good luck!

Q: its a current ad on uk tv, has a really nice song and there is a couple sitting on top of the stage scaffolding and they share a treat , like a chocolate pudding or ice cream. I really want to know the song, but at the moment i cant even remember what the product is, which is exasperating as i can't research further....: not sure of the song but i know the advert is for hagen das ice cream so you should be able to look it up on youtube!x

Q: Was it painful? How much did it cost you?: Mine wasn't too painful at all. It cost me $25, which was really stupid of me because good skill and good jewelery for a scaffold should be $35+ Though, i don't recommend a scaffold, a diagonal industrial or industrial would be better because the cartilage closest to the head is so completely unstructured that many people who have had it done have had it ripped out of that area with the slightest pull, including myself.

Q: I have already got a cartilage piercing, and I was considering getting a scaffold bar. I don't mind pain, but soon as it was in an unusual place, I was just a little bit curious.: it wont hurt anymore than the piercing you already have probable, buuuut the long bar makes it easier to catch it and irritate the piercing, so just be careful, and youll be okay!

Q: And how long do you have to keep it on? Any other knowledge I should know?: 8 - 16 weeks - healing time. But with some people it can be alot longer! Clean 3 - 4 times a day. Try cleaning with a mix of tea tree oil and water! It doesn't hurt much :)

Q: I got mine done about 10 weeks ago, with the two rings either side of the ear to give it healing space, then about 2 weeks ago, got the bar put through it... but I still can't sleep/lie on it comfortably. How long after getting the piercing, roughly, have people been able to sleep on their without it hurting?: It takes 6-12 months for a cartilage piercing to heal when done properly with a needle and double that time if a gun was used. I don#x27;t know why they pierced you with rings (should never be used in a scaffold#x2F;industrial piercing) and especially why they changed it to a bar so soon. You should have been pierced with a bar to begin with because changing the jewelry like that causes irritation and prolongs healing time. I think you need to find a different piercer.

Q: I really wanna get one, but i have questions ? i already have a reg top cartilage piercing, so do i need only one more or does it have to be higher/lower? oh and do they have to make the hole bigger for the one i already have? or just the same? thanks :): They can't use one of the holes you already have. Things won't line up properly and it won't heal. They will make the new hole either higher or lower, depending on how high your cartilage piercing is at the moment. I would assume they would try and make it higher, but it is about what will be best for the piercing.
