Q:I have pretty reasonable mech knowledge but not with turbos, Ive been reading a little on draw thru and blow thru turbo setups, I have access to turbos piping and intercoolers and my engine is a rotary 13b carbi fed engine(Its a toy and I dont care if I wreck it in the process)Anyone done their own?any reccomendations or advice?bare in mind Im not after a drag-car setup just a stupid lil booster to mess around with on fridays after work
i'd go to the hardware and buy a double compression fitting cut the pipe as needed and put the fitting in. it will last forever. . these fixes are just that fixes what you want is to repair the problem. i've been seeing and getting info on these quick fixes for years like mike holmes says if you're gonna do it , do it right. your hardware clerk can tell you what to do, just make sure you know what size pipe diameter you have. a pin hole is going to keep getting bigger just like a cavity on your tooth will. and in comes murphy's law
Q:does anyone know what the lights are called at a zebra crossing and why they are called that?
I'm assuming you mean a portrait or a tabletop shoot anything else is well beyond what you can do in the average home. Here's a cheap but effective home portrait studio: - Hang a sheet on the wall (well behind the subject so it'll be blurry) - Buy a couple of pieces of white foamcore (art supply store) to use as reflectors (put aluminum foil on them for even more reflection) - Put a bounce-head flash on your camera and set it to bounce light off the ceiling - Place the reflectors to give the effect you want. You can also bounce light off them - Another alternative is to buy a couple of 250-watt shop lamps, but I find they generate far too much heat and require color correction For tabletop, your best bet is to buy a Light Tent. They cost a bit but they'll solve all your lighting worries. Hope this helps.

Some states are at will states which means employers do not have to have a reason for termination. If the employer gives you a reason for the firing and you are innocent of the allegations, then I would consult a lawyer for advice. That's what they get paid to do.
Q:Had to change my door knob at my new place because the other one had no key to it was trying to install it (long story short) when kids started fighting and breaking stuff in the yard. pulled them apart, brought youngest in house to separate them and door wound up getting closed. The knobs weren't screwed in, now both have fallen out and the door will not open because the inside latch part is locked into the door and I can't get it open. PLEASE help me open my door! (Fortunately I do have another door to get outside, but I have NO knowledge of this kind of stuff and I don't know what to do. Please help me!)
That's why they say you're supposed to change the batteries every year. Once you change the battery, it'll quit beeping. It beeps because the battery is low or dead. My smoke detector batteries always seems to go dead at 2:30 am on a Sunday morning before a big meeting on Monday. The beeping just gets louder and louder until you change the battery in it. Hope this helps. If you have to call maintenance, ask them to put new batteries in all of the smoke detectors at once.
Q:ok- so if you smoke a whole lot of marijuana inside your house- i mean to a point where you smoked like 5 grams- can cops somehow detect it from the helicopters using their lil f*cking weed growing detectors- if you can detect weed growing then is it possible to detect if alot of weed has been smoked- this question has been in my mind for a while now
Teflon Tape or PTFE, short for polytetrafluoroethylene is used for pipe threads and never used in any type of flared thread. The sealing surface of the flare is metal to metal. You probably have some contamination in the sealing surface, or the nut is loose, or the seat is damaged or split. Teflon tape can be used in many automotive fluids where applicable to the thread. Fuel, coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, gear oil are all compatible with PTFE. It does not dissolve in any of these fluids. One last thought, if the fitting that is leaking is a banjo fitting you may need to replace the sealing washers. Google banjo fitting
Q:G1/8 "pipe joint end special sealing WD-B02 is what mean
The special sealing ring WD-B02 for the end of pipe joint is one of many industrial seals. It is used as a special seal for hydraulic fittings such as pipe joint, hydraulic plug and transition joint,
Q:bullet travel in the water before it becomes harmless to the person in the water.
Well, since i am your friend, and i know that you have lived in that house for over two years, and you only started falling recently. not when you first got the house. so that means, you MUST be used to the stairs by now, and your not typically clumsy. also, i have seen your house, one creepy place you have there. im not typically all, afraid and paranoid. but your house diffidently has SOMETHING up with it. also, since someone did die in your house, as i have told you before, that could be somethingbut as i read the advice from the others. they also make sense so maybe talking to people who actually believe in it would be more helpfulthen just people who would insult you, just because they dont believe in what you dont. lol sorry about my little speech there.
Q:Who knows what the clamp joint standard is?
But why are the actual products very much the same? Because the company is different and not all over the world. Where will it be?
Q:Let's say you're on 3rd gear and there's a speed bump or a pedestrian crossing ahead and you have to slow down. Do you have to shift to a lower gear or can you just slightly press the clutch and the and the break? Also, it it possible to go from 1st gear straight to 4th, skipping 2nd and 3rd? Or do you have to change to each one at a time?
steve, when solvent cementing pvc ( sch 40 ) all you need is deburr the edge of the pipes, use a good quality primer ( generally purple ) and a good quality glue. apply both to pipe and fittings and press in, hold for about 30 seconds and done - since your dealing with pressure, you must use pressure sch 40 fittings , not dwv pvc drain fittings you must let the fittings set or dry for at least 4 to 6 hrs before turning thw water back on. if you do this, there should be no reasons for a leak, best luck
Q:this is the kind of work we do, sheetrock, tile, carpet, taxture, painting, fenceing, room addition, some plumbing, some elect.and roofing, paint.
if im putting 2 steel pipe fittings together i always use pipe tape or dope. but if im thredding brass in to steel or the other way around some times i do and some times i dont. i have replaced lots of break air lines on trucks and i try to use tape or dope but some times i dont if its a hurry thing. some times im laying under trucks in the slush and snow when we have a plow truck blow a parking break line and in thoes siutwations pipe tape or dope is the last thing on my mind. im a mechanic at a highway deparment and some times we do what we gotta do when wer in a rush. as long as the lines you replaced did not leek after you wer done you are fine. threding plain brass in to a fitting and you get it tight enough it wont leek and im shure their was still some pipe tape or dope residue in the fitting you put the brass fitting in to. your wer right as long as it did not leek. if they fire you over this that is bs. good luck
