Q:i have a wifi connector and i lost my missing usb extension cable that came with it and it doesn't want to flash the green light anymore. if i buy a new extension cable will it work the same way as the one that came with the wifi connector.
it is not a piece of poop it will work if u buy a new one, now can u answer my first question please?
Q:I went to pull out the hard drive in my Satellite R15 laptop and I accidently pulled the ribbon part out that goes to the motherboard. I couldn't get the ribbon to slide back in and finally I figured out how to lift the bracket up with the pressure pin. While doingthis the pin broke off and now I had to place tape over ribbon cable for it to stay in place but now it won't read the hard drive to boot up?? What do I need to do?
if its an inner difficult force then that's a IDE or SATA cable or archives cable. SATA is so plenty extra moderen and smaller. If that's exterior then that's merely a USB cable. the place that plugs into has a USB to IDE or USB to SATA (on extra moderen fashions). The IDE cable is a ribbon like cable frequently grayish in shade.
Q:i have a wireless router but i cant connect to wifi on it, nintendo say use a Nintendo wifi usb connector but i don't know if it will let me as i already have a wireless router (witch i cant use) and if it will let me where can i buy won ?p.s my router is a bt home-hubbest answer gets points
I know of somebody who had a similar situation and I believe she used one of the USB connectors and got it working (after a bit of fudging it.) As where to get it, I'm not sure where to tell you exactly since stores vary a lot by area, but like there should be a Best Buy, Gamestop, Walmart, etc in your area. Something should have it. Just call around. Also, if your Circuit City in your area hasn't fully liquidated yet, could always see if they do and get one on sale. Unless somebody can 100% tell you yes or no though, I'd call Nintendo support. There should be a number in one of those 100s of books they give you with DS cames lol
Q:91 4WD Explorer. Hoping to find someone who knows the answer instead of thinks they know. Trying to replace the slave cylinder which burst. I can not go by what I find, because the last person rounded the bolts, broke some of the fittings and left parts off.The Explorer has the PLASTIC quick connector on the hydraulic line. The replacement release cylinders come with a rubber O-ring the size of the female quick connector. Haynes and Chilton do not mention the ring. Perfection shows the ring on the METAL quick connector, but doesn't show the plastic connector and the plastic doesn't have the same groove.1. Does the plastic not use the ring?2. Do I drop the ring in and force the male fitting in after it?3. Do I mount the ring on the male fitting between the tip and the release collar? If you can answer thanks.
I'm a little bit confused. If you're talking about the little plastic ring with a diagonal cut in it that is the release mechanism for the quick connector. Instead of needing a tool you push that in and it releases the little metal tines that hold the fitting in place. If that's the piece you're talking about it should be around the fitting that's on the hydraulic line, and it should all plug in nice and simple to the new slave cylinder. I've never had one that isn't just that easy. You might also double check whether or not you've got the right parts, fords have a tendency to change things around so sometimes if you ask the parts store for a piece they give you the first one out of the list of 3.
Q:I just purchased a 2 Watt wifi router and a rp-sma T connector. I have a 9dBi antenna and it comes with a 5dBi antenna. If I decide to use the connector, how will it affect the antennas? Will it average them? Add them? Explode?
yes
Q:I have 1 red and 2 yellow composite connectors on my tv, Roku requires 1 red, 1 yellow and 1 white connector. Do you think just yellow and red would work? any suggestions? Thanks
REALLY ODD: Could be one of two things. 1) That the connectors are miss labeled. In that case, plug red -red, and then try to plug the yellow and white into the two yellow. If that doesn't work reverse the white / yellow. 2) The TV is mono. In that case, plug in one the red and yellow connectors. Just to break it down for you: Red / White - are left and right audio Yellow - video - 17R3W
Q:Any help would be greatly appreciated. The reason is that I’m trying to find the crimp for the connectors. This is a link to show you how they
they look like slide on connectors without the plastic covering, i don't think they need to be crimped it looks like the wire should be soldered in
Q:I’m replacing the existing light switch with a built-in timer, but I have a problem: I cannot use twist-on wire connectors as they occupy too much space in a switch box.Is it safe to use just an electrical tape?
DO NOT USE A BUTT SPLICE! Butt splices can come loose and cause a short in the system, or even a fire. The best thing you could do is solder the connection and then use a quality electrical tape.
Q:I just bought an original Nintendo Entertaintment System (NES) and got the pin connector inside the console replaced. Every how long should i replace it if I use it regularly?
ploof. can you re-post that but this time get some help
Q:First off, let me say that my landlord isn't going to fix this (that's not the arrangement I'm in) I have to do it myself - so don't say, call your landlord.I moved into an older apartment in California and there isn't a standard wall plate to connect an RJ11 jack into. I have a single cable that comes about 6 inches out of the wall and then fans out to six or seven smaller wires. The smaller wires are muti-colored, some of them are striped (candy cane looking). What I think happened is, there used to be a hardwired phone there, that's been removed. How do I put a RJ11 connector on those wires, and what's the pin-outs? Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of?I'm not going to put a phone there, I'm just getting it setup for DSL.
When you purchase a connector, the terminal will be color-coded. Connect the wires to the same colors on the terminal (red and green are teh two important ones for a primary line). The frist two should be all you need, but it doesn't hurt to connect others. There are jacks that are faceplates tht are flush with the wall, but there are also 'boxes' that generally sit along the baseboards. If you use one of these and coerce the extra thicker wire back into the wall (there should be plenty of space), you can leave it looking nice and clean.
